Things have improved over the years, there is an official chrome extension for keychain that works on windows (although I’ve never used it so can’t comment on how well it works) it’s also possible to export your keychain database (although only using a Mac). The worst thing about keychain now is that, on iOS, it’s only accessible through settings which makes accessing 2FA codes a pain. I think keychain should be it’s own app.
