Also, if they are look at the ups and downs, hopefully they invested when it hit the dip.

I use Connect on Android. I’m not sure if tagging is a function of the app or of Lemmy. I’ve only really used it a few times. It shows up on the three dots under a person’s comment or on their profile, “add user note”.
Thanks, I’ve updated the tag to “Russia Sympathizer”.
I definitely have you marked as maybe pro-Russia because you’re openly mocking criticism and helping the pro/neutral-Russia narrative. I don’t think it’s intentional, but I’m not ruling it out either.
I can’t access the link you posted. So I’ll take your word for it. But I can’t see how many votes it has or what their reasoning is.
Thanks. I definitely thought “total” meant total.
I haven’t seen that response unless someone has credible connections to Russia, like Trump or Stein.
Also, her complaints are 100% valid.
Ironically you’re the one dismissing criticism of people supporting Russian interests in a completely unrelated post.
I can’t wait for Democrats to accuse one of their own of being a Russian asset.
Why would they?
The threat of splitting the vote is a good reason to run, if you feel like your position isn’t being taken seriously enough AND that it’s important enough that everything else is worth losing.
The problem is that the majority of the Democrats are on board with green initiatives. The only holdup on the $10T program before was Manchin. She has now pivoted RCV, or more specifically destroying the duopoly because they are the enemy for “reasons”.
Also, she’s said that she wouldn’t pull out even if the Dems gave her what she wanted. So it doesn’t really work as a threat either.
For me, I think it just depends. Kind of like how “the” can be “thee” or “thuh” depending on how much I’m enunciating.
I’ve thought about if bands started to boycott red states. I live in a red state, and any band that might boycott would also have more liberal fans. So they would really be hurting those that already agree with them.
But also, fuck our government and the 2/3 of people that agree with those crazy fucks.
According to a random poll I just looked up, 29% of Americans “somewhat care” if their politicians support genocide. Maybe we should pressure them to care more and join the 19% that care a lot.
Boycott America until people take it seriously and stop funding them.
LGBTQ+ will only legally be allowed to promote straight people going forward.
Or they’ll make the correct decision that there is no basis, and they’ll get praised for making a rational decision (in a 7-2 ruling).
Republicans really do get praised for almost doing the bare minimum.

I’m totally fine with that as well. I’ve also heard that surgery requires a lot of verification and validation from psychologists. Medical professionals don’t just sign you up for life-altering procedures. In fact, if I as personally deciding, I’d say let medical professionals do their job.
I think that’s totally reasonable. They support puberty suppressants and any other non-surgical treatments. But surgery comes with a lot of risk. And it’s easy to make the argument that minors are legally seen as unable to make certain life altering decisions.
And additionally, even if this is 100% a political move, I think it’s more important to protect non-medical treatments AND adult surgery if this has to go.
It was never unlosable. People have forgotten how bad Trump was and blame everything on Biden. It’s been an uphill battle.
Although I still think he should have stepped aside for someone with less baggage.
If you say so.
But voting is literally how we decide who is in power, and it cost nothing. SCOTUS being hijacked by radicals is a direct result of the 2016 election. Everyone got together and decided (through the Electoral College) that Trump was the person to lead us. Everyone had a voice. Some chose not to use that.
Yes, he is limiting the number of asylum seekers. Yes Trump is going to be infinitely worse if he’s elected.
I blame Hillary and the people who didn’t vote for her. They still had a choice. And it was a dumbass choice they made.
I’m actually worried about what my kids will be taught.
