I’m not sure what’s going on over there, but half the time I see a post from there or go into a comment section and it’s just…bad. Like old reddit the_donald bad. Constant trolling, etc. You TS just really bad vibes. I’ve been blocking the communities as they come up, but I’m not sure what else I can do.
When you blocked it, why should you do more? Everyone who wants to block it can do so, you don’t have to force your preferences on others
When that instance is brigading and shutting out any other conversation, blocking them isn’t going to cut it. It still shuts out everyone else who hasn’t. They’re being actively harmful to the site through their actions and don’t participate in good faith. lemmy.ca defederated with them yesterday because of this.
