The man arrested in the killing of UnitedHealthcare’s CEO is being held without bail after a New York federal court appearance on charges including a death-eligible murder count.
They don’t want riots. Riots are the last thing they want. This whole trial will be a show of force and bullying from them. It will be to make an example of him to try and cower the rest of us into submission.
We already found out if they’re going for it, they are.
Do you think they’ll get the death penalty and not enforce it?
Like, I don’t understand what you think we’ll find out later. Or why we haven’t crossed your personal threshold for them wanting the death penalty yet.
That’s how it works, yes. Somebody being eligible for the death sentence doesn’t mean that the prosecution is going to push for it or that the jury will decide it is warranted versus life in prison or some other sentence.
Penalties for being found guilty of a crime are “up to” whatever the max is. You don’t automatically get the max.
That’s the state charge, and the state does not have the death penalty. The federal charge of murder with a firearm carries the potential for the death penalty.
Bruh…
They want riots. Didn’t you pay attention to BLM?
They’re absolutely desperate for some shit to pop off so they can call people against the American healthcare industry a violent mob.
They want anything other than a repeat
I disagree.

It’ll wait until Trump comes in the declare martial law, allowing him to bypass future elections until resolved… Or some bullshit.
I guess we’ll find out.
What?

The reason they included the spurious terrorism charge is that’s what takes it to murder 1 and the death penalty…
I’m sorry, I assumed everyone was up to speed, I shouldn’t have.
