Summary

Mindy Robinson, a vocal election denier, plans not to vote in 2024 to “prove” her ballot could still be counted, mirroring a broader movement questioning election legitimacy.

At a rally, JD Vance and Donald Trump Jr. urged their followers to turn out, reflecting a dual strategy within Trump-aligned circles: calling for votes while fueling suspicions about election integrity.

Key groups, including True the Vote and the Election Integrity Network, have trained activists to monitor polling sites aggressively, leading to heightened tensions and even incidents with election officials.

This network of activists promotes conspiracies about immigrant voters and voter fraud, merging election denial with far-right affiliations and posing a potential risk of violence if results are disputed.

Gifford says her work is more focused on transparency rather than partisanship. But when asked if she believes the 2020 election was stolen, she quietly admits she does. When asked why, Gifford doesn’t really have an answer: “I have no idea. It’s just, I don’t know. It’s just a gut feeling. I’m sorry. I have no evidence.”

this is what happens when everyone doesn’t shame, mock, ridicule, etc. people who throw reality out the window in favor of made-up fantasy bullshit. years of “we should respect their viewpoints!” led directly to this. and now the very real threat of violence tomorrow
