When i head on the messages section i just see my username and a weird number, i was wondering if anyone else is getting notifications or if the feature is yet to be added

They haven’t added that as a feature yet. Its on the road map though and high priority.
Notifications are not yet implemented into Mlem
I don’t think the app has those features yet.
