Hello, I’m sorry in advance if this is a noob question. I am new to Lemmy and the Fediverse.
As far as I understand, Lemmy is part of the Fediverse, but if I search for “Lemmy” here it will not find it. It seems to be full of instances from Mastodon.
Can someone help me understand why Lemmy isn’t there? Thank you!

But there are plenty more, you can even make your own, if you feel like it. But apps are evolving, what connects them is the ActivityPub protocol https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ActivityPub
