Hello, I’m sorry in advance if this is a noob question. I am new to Lemmy and the Fediverse.
As far as I understand, Lemmy is part of the Fediverse, but if I search for “Lemmy” here it will not find it. It seems to be full of instances from Mastodon.
Can someone help me understand why Lemmy isn’t there? Thank you!
That website doesn’t seem to list a lot of Fediverse software.
Oh I see, I thought it was the official Fediverse website since it was the first showed in the search results.

Nothing is “official” on the Fediverse.
Because it is decentralized, no one controls it (and thus nothing can be “official”).
