    What a strange factoid to choose to highlight.

    I wonder if this “war” hasn’t proportionately killed more children than any in history.

      Modern history, possibly. In terms of casualties it resembles a genocide more than it resembles a war.

      History is brutal, killing kids was just normal behavior for a lot of thy time - babies dashed on rocks was a common motif. If you’re trying to say it’s thy most brutal conflict in history for kids you’re being absurd, it’s not even the most brutal ongoing conflict when you look at clashes between child soldiers.

      I do wonder what the average age someone is recruited into hamas is

        Your brain on Hollywood.

        1. Ancient people weren’t any less empathetic than modern people.
        2. Ancient people didn’t have mortars, rockets and bombs and assault rifles.
        3. There were fewer people invoked in ancient conflicts.
