I personally don’t appreciate jokes about violence either, but whatever. I’m not policing the Internet.

I know you’re making a joke, but this doesn’t really feel like the place to do it given the subject being discussed.
Dang, I kind of want one of those glass dragons. That sounds awesome
That’s kinda fucked up. Almost sounds like laws targeting homeless people living out of their cars. And for anyone else, why shouldn’t I be able to just tour around and look at sights without necessarily stopping anywhere? That’s basically what I do every weekend for fun.
Yep. Ubiquiti sells wifi 7 APs and the latest phones support it as of some time last year I think. The big new feature is 6GHz and the ability to automatically hop between frequencies (You can use 6, 5 and 2.4GHz all at once). Latency has been great, and I easily get 1Gbps+ in the same room as my wifi.
If Trump was in my living room, I’d spit in his face. He’s so far removed from how I live my life, it’s hard for me to even acknowledge people like him exist.
Renting out cabins and beach houses makes way more sense, since those are typically places you wouldn’t live in full time. The rest of the short term housing rentals end up driving up the cost of living.
If it’s someone else’s job to design things, then that’s a pretty terrible specification. But depending on your role, it’s common enough for there to be one person who designs and builds a feature like “User projects dashboard”, and the job is to decide what’s important based on the product. Especially with smaller companies.
I’d expect in most cars it’s as simple as pulling a fuse for the cellular radio. But depending on how the car is designed that might break other features like the infotainment or keyless entry. It’s hit or miss how any given car will react to things being unplugged.
Am I the only one left writing pure JS webpages? I swear for the stuff I’ve done recently, adding React or even jQuery makes things 10x more complicated and bloated. The base JS support browsers have now is actually great. It’s not like the old days trying to support every browser back to IE6
The risk of me getting wrongfully convicted of something and getting a death sentence is higher than the chance of some dangerous murder escaping prison and hurting me.
Unfortunately being absolutely 100% certain is not a luxury we have in the majority of cases. People are framed, new evidence comes up, things like lie detectors and blood splatter analysis turn out to be junk science. Life in prison can get overturned and corrected if mistakes were made, death can’t.
This graph actually shows a little more about what’s happening with the randomness or “temperature” of the LLM.
It’s actually predicting the probability of every word (token) it knows of coming next, all at once.
The temperature then says how random it should be when picking from that list of probable next words. A temperature of 0 means it always picks the most likely next word, which in this case ends up being 42.
As the temperature increases, it gets more random (but you can see it still isn’t a perfect random distribution with a higher temperature value)
I’m on a prepaid plan, and got in on a really good deal. They were offering $25/month off indefinitely for signing up for auto-pay (Basically 35% off, lol). It made the plan cheaper and better than most of their monthly plans. I’m happy to know it also saved me from giving out my SSN.
All of those are dated after the meme. I think it’s safe to say that account is based on this meme, not the other way around.
The UNIX Tools Philosophy is that tools should do one thing, and they should do it well.
I wish more things followed this philosophy.

There actually are a lot of really cool EV conversion builds on YouTube using fairly open parts. So I’d say this is perfectly accurate.
Clickbait from before it was called clickbait.
We clearly do not share a sense of humor.
