That works! Thanks so much. Wasn’t sure since didnt work earlier, so the confirmation that it is the right technique is helpful!
Heyo! Im a queer CS major from Vancouver. I do cosplay, and just am a big nerd overall. Mastodon: transgwender@tech.lgbt

Oml thats actually insane and incredible. My goodness wow
I finally went through and got my first haircut since 2018-2019. Went to a local queer barbershop, got my hair cleaned up and fully bleached and it was amazing. Took 6 hours to bleach, since I have a ton of hair (one of the largest hair jobs the person doing it ever had they said), but it turned out great. Then got home, dyed it, and was so damn euphoric and happy. Its nice to finally be in control of my hair.
Incredible, really hoping this helps a ton over time
YOOOOOOOOOOOO. The first trilogy let me play AA for the first time, and recently got the Great Ace Attorney, needing to play that when I get time. It’ll be awesome to round it out and play these 3 games once it releases!
Oh my goodness thats actually incredible. Yeah I am looking forward to this #threadiverse growth, since it feels very suited for this type of social media, following communities and such.
Makes sense, thought it worthwhile to ask ahah. Good to hear that things are stable. Yeah, I can imagine the growth has gotten pretty fast. I registered before it, but r/196 recently made a post about off-site migration and mentions this instance (plus c/196, hosted here) https://www.reddit.com/r/196/comments/146y2qw/r196_offsite_migration_discord_info/. So that definitely explains the increased load. Hopefully yall will be able to weather it well. Honestly, I am enjoying being here, I am glad this exists.
Ah makes sense. But yeah, now Im wondering, is there a way for users to be able to help support yall runnin the server?
Yeah I think avoiding downvoting I prefer. Im not sure how it works entirely, but the fact that outside people can’t just come here and downvote is actually very appreciated. I know for smaller hobby-type posts, in places like Reddit, seeing downvotes can be very demoralizing for continuing with the hobby, so not having that risk is kinda nice. What would be useful is if Lemmy had some way to allow communities to set if downvotes are allowed or not, but I dont think it does. I rather until Lemmy provides that feature, for this server to not allow downvotes overall.
Yeah im like 99% happy with DuckDuckGo, except for images. The image results are always awful I find, so I just have to open up google images when I need an image. Dont think I can avoid that, but yeah
Yeah, sounds like the server is under heavy load. Does anyone know if there a lofi or something to be able to help support blahaj.zone?
Well now thats perfect, gonna do so!
Well this is exciting, can’t wait to see what comes out of it. If I knew Swift I’d love to contribute. Best of luck!
Yeah, I would prefer if this place just pre-emptively defederates Threads. Since while unlikely to be able to really view lemmy posts properly, I still rather it not be able to be seen at all. I dont want them to embrace extend extinguish and so need to pre-emptively prevent that.
