Oh no, if the entire island were to emigrate to France they would have 270000 immigrants to deal with. Typical right-wing bullshit policy.

It is not so much that everyone will have forgotten about it and more that they tend to go for first time voters who were maybe 10 years old the last time the FDP pulled the same thing.
Rail is one thing but there are also others like bike and pedestrian infrastructure, education, internet, digital streamlined government processes. Also maintenance of infrastructure in general.
Rail and other transport decisions do highlight how a lot of the economic policies do not reflect what makes sense but what the existing industry wants to survive for a few more years without adapting.
Apparently it is not quite that simple.

Not sure that bit is uniquely German enough to count as cultural heritage.
And if the UK rejects an update, that update cannot be released in any other nation and the public would not be informed of the decision.
That sounds like the UK wants every software and hardware vendor to flee its market.
Maybe in that particular form but the more general idea that rich and powerful people got there because they deserve to be rich and powerful and if we prevented them from getting rich and powerful it would negatively impact all of society is certainly not an exclusively western idea.
this is a western world problem
Not really. Do you think media and politicians aren’t owned by the rich and powerful in other parts of the world?
If anything people had bigger families in the past but somehow the capacity per car weight has gone down significantly, both for people and cargo.
The parish was named after Saint Pancras, a 14-year-old boy who had converted to Christianity and would not renounce his faith. As a result, he was beheaded by Diocletian in Rome in 304AD. He is the patron saint of children. St Pancras is a Greek name meaning ‘the one that holds everything’.
Apparently St Pancras is the patron saint of indoctrinating children to become martyrs of their religion.
Or at the very least a term like indoctrination or brainwashing would be more appropriate than re-education.
1.6 tons is quite frankly an insane weight for a vehicle to transport an 80kg human around. That is 20 times the weight of what you want to transport, not to mention the volume overhead and required space on the road including safety distances.
Weight matters to the maintenance of the parking spaces too.
This is not a British thing but new EU entry checks for third countries.
Oh, completely agree there. Voting is absolutely necessary, just not always sufficient.
The protests matter because they destroy the narrative that the silent majority is behind the AfD views.
Unionism is a fundamentally irrational world view given how Westminster treats NI.
You can apply the same view to e.g. healthcare. It is a lot cheaper to pay for preventative healthcare for everyone than to deal with health issues once they get to the point where they become unbearable.
Why exactly did it take that long to add those fairly obvious goods?
But if countries committing atrocities are off the table won’t that severely limit the possible destinations for people to enjoy? Won’t somebody think of the poor holidaymakers? /s
