  • I used to support them but when they opened the floodgates to trash games I didn’t get much reason to stick around. I miss and crave curation over volume. If both stores have heaps of garbage and steam has far better Linux support with valve actively contributing to and improving the Linux ecosystem… I’m going steam most of the time now.

Sad as in theory I would support gog more but it seems like they’ve discarded what made them special.

  • I’ve been slowly trying thumbkey but seem to be struggling to get to the point where I feel comfortable using it over qwerty. I love the concept as I also hate using qwerty… Yet I still seem more accurate using the crutch of autocorrect. With thumbkey I have to go back and correct more than I thought I would. I can kinda touch-type at a decent rate now but I definitely need more practice.

All of this is to ask: is there a point where I will be so comfortable as to not need to fear misspelling something without this crutch of autocorrect?

I regularly go to classes for (non-ballroom) latin dance and occasionally dip my toes in a swing event. I used to professionally perform classical music and burned out real hard some years ago; It’s nice to have started something from the ground up. Enjoyment and mastery at my own pace.

It makes me happy to see techie enjoy the job rather. It makes the whole thing feel more human and connecting as everyone wants to be there showcasing their craft.
