Everyone should leave that instance, the admin and the mods on that instance are big time thought police and will find excuses in their vague rules to delete your posts and eventually ban you if your views go against the grain.

Streaming services are all so backwards when it comes to quality. They think resolution is the only thing that matters, to the point it is actually degrading the quality of the product they are offering, and is also wasting bandwidth and resources.
I have some laserdiscs that are ~40 years old and still play fine.
This, I had multiple old machines with these kinds of specs, I put Slackware on them, dropped in an ethernet card (or two), and used them for all sorts of things, iptables firewall/router, email server, network storage, irc server, etc. It breathed new life into seriously outdated hardware.
There’s already too many non Europeans in Europe.
Forget streaming, physical media is ripe for hoarding right now. Thrift stores, antique malls, junk stores, etc can’t give this stuff away. Even 4k blurays on amazon are deeply discounted right now.
Sorry, you don’t agree to a ceasefire with terrorists, you cease them from existing.
Say bye bye to your terrorist friends while you still can.
Its currently cheaper for me to collect used laserdiscs, dvds, and blurays.
People are dumping physical media, and its a firesale. For most discs its $1-5 if you know where to look.
How about lithium fires burning down peoples houses then?
The air is plenty clean as it is, has been for decades too… as long as you don’t live in California, where the smug is so thick it’s asphyxiating.
Yes they have, rates used to be 0.12/kwh all day long, recently they rolled out a peak pricing scam and it’s 0.22/kwh from 2-7pm, that is nearly double.
Its not good news at all, electricity prices have gone up a lot since this net-zero insanity took over. Morons are clapping their hands like trained seals at their bank accounts being drained by corporations and politicians.

Send Windows 11 and their stupid trusted computing initiative to the landfill instead.
The censorship is already worse here than it was on Reddit.
Run the tracks through your backyard then.
Reddit crushed itself more than anything. Sure they ended the protest, but that place is a ghost-town now, all that’s left are the bots and politcal propaganda pushers. Stale links that are several days old populate the front pages of the big subs.
I’m going to flip that back on them, Microsoft will have to pay me to update my OS.
As someone who was on the internet before social media existed, please let it die in a fire.
Everything now is curated and cultivated by corporations and political entities to weed out any “unacceptable” discourse and content that doesn’t support a particular agenda or narrative.
Most of the stuff I was looking for couldn’t even be found on store shelves. Before online shopping and streaming, if it wasn’t the latest release or biggest hit, you probably wouldn’t be able to find it locally. You’d waste time browsing up and down aisles of junk only to leave disappointed, then try again at another store, hoping that by some miracle they’d have it.
Then I discovered that terabytes upon terabytes of content was available, nearly instantly and conveniently, on the internet. All you had to do was click a few buttons and you had what you wanted. That was about 25+ years ago, and the recording industry still has not adapted to offer a service that even comes close to what was available back then.
