I thought I remember Xbox doing the the same thing for free to play Xbox games a couple years ago

Yeah there’s a first person NFL VR game, but last I heard, it was still oculus exclusive
Ah ok I’ve only really played on Xbox, since that’s where my CRPG buddy is. Still trying to convince him to build a gaming PC. Or at least get a steam deck haha
I’m soooo thankful BG3 went with the skill wheel rather than the skill bars like in DoS 1/2. The bars were a pain to try to keep organized (at least on console or playing with a controller), and I’d always forget to use skills that were on bars 3 or higher.
I get it. I’m the only one of my D&D/RPG friends who likes sports, and the only one of my sports friends who likes D&D :-/
Huh Mazda isn’t listed. I assume because it wasn’t tested, rather than because it’s so much better than the others
Yeah I’ve used my Deck as an xcloud terminal quite a bit. If I was only interested in the Xbox ecosystem, I’d definitely go for something like PlayStation’s handheld terminal but for Xbox/xcloud
Email GOG and ask them whether their version of BG3 works on Mac? If it ends up not working, you have a solid case for a refund
I know Steam would be ideal, but sometimes you just have to meet somebody where they are
I’m playing coop online with my friend now. (Just started, since he’s on Xbox only.)
Since we only play like 4 hours/week, and about half the time our gaming “appointment” gets cancelled because of adult responsibilities, I think it’ll take us a good year to get to the end lol
Oh come on. For $230 you can get the Sony WH-1000XM4 (or similar). Works wired or wireless, active noise canceling, pretty long battery life.
For 99% of people, those are “good” wireless headphones. I’ve been very happy with my XM3s for five or six years now
Yeah I have a usb dock with HDMI plugged into my TV, and an old Xbox One controller paired to the Deck. Basically works the same as a docked Switch
Ok, yeah I’ve tried trackpadding other games on the Deck and it was a thoroughly unenjoyable experience for me. Maybe I’ll try to push through again with this game
Yeah I’ve tried using the Deck’s trackpads in games. I’m ok with it for an occasional menu, but I haven’t been able to enjoy it enough to use it as a primary gaming input device
Ok I wasn’t try to make a judgement about the price. I’m not really in the market for something like this. I was just curious, and figured others would be too.
According to the Steam page, it does not have controller support.
I’m waiting for that too, so I can play on the Deck or on the couch
Yeah I’ve played some games on GamePass on my Deck via MS Edge and xcloud. It works pretty well for anything where input lag isn’t a factor, like turn-based games.
I tried Rocket League and Forza just for shits and giggles, and while it’s not unplayable, it’s also not responsive enough to be enjoyable
I’m gonna look at reviews and gameplay first. But if it’s got 10+ hours of what looks to me like fun, then I’ll probably buy it
As with V, I’m not interested in the online stuff
What TV did you get that doesn’t have smart features?
I looked, but all the ones I could find were 1080p, no HDR, and either tiny or made for commercial/industrial installation.
Can you recommend a good service?
