I signed up for this month’s ago and I’m still not in. Every time I log into the app to check my waitlist, I’m some random number in the 3000s, and not always lower than last time. Why is this do you know?

I assume the Siri and Google assistant white noise just download the 20 min file when you ask and just repeat that. Whereas an 8h podcast of a 20 minute repeated sound will use 8h of bandwidth

This will be controversial too but having the same community on each instance doesn’t work either. There are 3 major Android communities and none have very much content, and lots of reposts etc

Really wish there was more content. I’ve been trying to post stuff but I never get any comments either. Anything other than the few mainstream communities is just dead

More video is uploaded every minute than anyone can ever watch in a lifetime. It costs money to store and serve all that.

I can see that, before I uninstalled it, it barely took 2 minute to open it and see that still only about 3 of the people I followed on Twitter are now on it, and my feed is still full of celebrity nonsense rather than anything interesting.

I think you must be getting confused, salmon is not sold in UK supermarkets with the scales on. Just the skin.

I find trains are often relatively affordable but you have to have a good understanding of the system. For example, an anytime return between Manchester to London on the direct train can be £300 which people are rightly outraged by.

But you can buy Split Tickets for part of the journey, and/or take different trains to cut the costs down. You can do Manchester to London return, even booking only the week before, for £50, if you go via Crewe and take the comfier and less crowded, but slightly slower, West Midlands Rail train.

You shouldn’t have to know the system so well to get cheap fares, but it’s not impossible to do
