Samurai (侍、さむらい) were the hereditary military nobility and officer caste of medieval and early-modern Japan from the late 12th century until their abolition in the late 1870s during the Meiji era.

Scottish inventor Alexander Bain worked on chemical-mechanical fax-type devices and in 1846 was able to reproduce graphic signs in laboratory experiments. He received British patent 9745 on May 27, 1843, for his “Electric Printing Telegraph”.
In 1880, English inventor Shelford Bidwell constructed the scanning phototelegraph that was the first telefax machine to scan any two-dimensional original, not requiring manual plotting or drawing.
selling its Israeli operation to a local businessman
But I assume this means the US company “Ben & Jerrys” doesn’t benefit from these sales any more. Unilever still benefits, but Ben & Jerrys as it stands does not. It’s just the name being used in Israel occupied territory.
I was at work in a bank (big, sturdy, multiple stories) when we experienced a sonic boom. It was heard/felt across several counties. We thought a bomb had gone off somewhere.
“Fuck around and find out” for everyone else who didn’t know.
The thing is I don’t think a majority of people pay for Prime for Prime Video. I obviously have no statistics for this, but I think Video is just a “bonus” on top of the shipping. I don’t know anyone who uses Prime Video as their main source of streaming.
Lycoris Recoil, a bit.
I got a new car two years ago, and physical buttons were one of the determining factors.
I suppose this is related to your “users are inactive” point but I also feel like it’s more common on Reddit to have multiple/alt accounts. Hell, in my time on Reddit I think I made 7+ accounts.
Ah thanks! Duh. “Add up to 5 members” not just “5 members”. Whoops.
They may be confusing it with the family plan? Which is $23 for up to 5 people, which imo is a pretty good deal if you know 4 other people to go in on it.
I like that I can create my own playlists with multiple sort options. It also has more speed options, as well as its own “shorten pauses” thing where it clips down awkward pauses and stuff.
I pay $10/year for my podcast app (Overcast). Considering it does everything I want it to do that a lot of other apps don’t (or didn’t, years ago when I started with Overcast), and I use it 8+ hours a day it seems reasonable.
(whenever that Reddit debacle was, October?)
I’m sorry to inform you that was in June.
Thank you very much for clarifying. It makes sense if a subscription is not transferred but if someone does the outright payment that should be transferred. Asshole move if the one time unlock isn’t.

I must have misunderstood, because I know you have to pay $12,000-15,000 (seems the price has lowered) for the FSD to be available, then pay subscription on top of that. For some reason I thought they were saying the initial $12k+ “unlock” wouldn’t transfer.
I read it as the second owner would have to pay for it themselves to (re)unlock it. So Tesla would get paid twice for the feature in one car.
Yeah I’ve literally never gotten an email from AliExpress over an order in my life lol. They don’t even email me confirmations or shipping notices. Which I like cuz then I just get a nice surprise 2-3 weeks later lol.
