Honestly, Animal Crossing in the game too.

I switched from Android to iPhone mainly for the iMessage capabilities. I didn’t have any other reason at the time, but now I’ve started adding in to the ecosystem (AirPods, and now an iPad). The integration is really nice and smooth. I do like how “user-friendly” it is - while I can use other platforms just fine, iOS is just simple and easy.
I didn’t, really. Just kind of ended up here and it’s not bad.
Bean counter.
Same here - I hope more female-oriented communities get going. WitchesVsPatriarchy, TrollXChromosomes, and all the chaos of the Netflix Cinematic Universe reality shows were a blast on Reddit.
I have found !witchymemes@lemmy.world so far!
At the moment, it seems to be, “I can’t poop for 3 days.”
Either cats or a vibrator.
Humans going extinct would probably be the most beneficial.
Canadian in a major city - yes, safe to drink right from the tap.
However, many remote communities here do not have access to safe drinking water.
I had actually thought about signing up for the basic plan because it is just me who likes it, but I was put off by the low quality.
Well - I guess now I’ll be officially sticking to Plex.
Pickles and bacon!
Great points here. Sometimes I will go for a walk and then wonder, why don’t I feel any better? And it’s likely because that wasn’t what I actually needed.
Thanks! Glad I asked - they made an interesting point at the end about younger people actually starting to prefer low to no alcohol in beer nowadays.
Anyone got a link to get around the paywall?
Same! I’ve curated my Subscribed list and I’m pretty happy on this instance so far. Very happy to be on a new forum with good people and all the content I need.
I think my favourite episode is Mr. Plow. :) Thanks for the reminder, I need to rewatch The Simpsons!
I’ve seen this with my Zoomer sister-in-law. She just recently learned how to use Microsoft - their home and school system was entirely Apple. She’s still not great at troubleshooting.
I used Apollo for over 5 years. Before that, I had an Android, so I used Baconreader and later Relay. Before THAT, I used Alien Blue.
Ever since the blackout, I have only visited Reddit once. Definitely making Lemmy my primary forum nowadays.
Canada. That we ride polar bears everywhere.
Just ridiculous - polar bears are only in the Arctic. The rest of us commute by moose.
I’d strongly recommend Dungeons & Daddies (not a BDSM podcast, it is indeed Dungeons & Dragons). It’s about 4 dads trying to save their sons in another realm.
Super digestible, not TOO strict about rules, and I die of laughter anytime Beth May says anything.
Corporate taxes - at least in Canada, you can have a year end any day of the year.
And yes, some older tax preparers don’t work in summer/fall.
