grrr…why so many podcoasts these days? One of the things I appreciate about NPR & misses.org is they, eventually, post full transcripts of their podcasts online. (Either they have really good speech to text technology, or it scurinizetley edited by humans.)

I don’t understand how anyone can choose to watch 4K. maybe I’m just so cheap I tell myself I can not tell the difference, but anything higher than 480P just feels like overkill to sell more bandwidth and overpriced hardware.

currently, I believe India takes the cake on that particular front, at least prime minister Modi does. For example, the ruling part is making all schools, public & private, remove references to evolution and the periodic table of the elements from grade 10 science curriculum as it challenges Hindu Nationalist ideas of Indians being the first peoples, and the greatest scientists.
