I’ll never give up. I’ll shove my 256-bit AES encrypted USB stick so far up the glowy asses they start vomiting shit and USB drives. I still use YouTube and shit tho. I try and convert people. I’ve been successful getting quite a few people on Signal. The problem is that if there isn’t interoperability and everyone’s friends aren’t on it some forget to even check the app or don’t get notifications. If you leave message contents in notifications you’re fucked anyway. Lol I feel their pain, but I wish I could get people to care before bad things happen. I mean, bad things have happened. We just gotta keep it up.

Also with LLMs getting good the less informed user can make changes they want and learn as they do with less effort so lower barrier to entry. The Arch wiki isn’t even that hard if you have a level headed 24/7 assistant that knows enough and can reason well enough to teach you something. Only if you make sure that you never expect perfection. I don’t trust people’s work blindly so why would I blindly trust an LLM? That’s the lessen we gotta learn. Use the brain lol
Meanwhile my fiber provider actually offers 5 gig symmetrical for $150 a month. I don’t have the network gear to do over a gig, but they offer it and it’s a hell of a lot cheaper and better than Comcast.
Fuck Unity. Their engine sucks anyway.
This is good for rural areas and mid sized areas especially. In buffer cities there are lots of co-ops and other resources to do this as well. It’s not easy, but it’s also one of the easier things to do. Even a small change like buying a few things locally produced is better than nothing.
But who will know? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° ) Seriously though this is an example of how they do regulatory capture, and this sucks. At minimum, doing it without a license could make the property harder to sell, and that’s nuts!
That doesn’t sound good at all
And then they can deduct it as a business expense. Yay! 😭🤣
Google has completely lost its way. On my Pixel 6 recently the voice typing doesn’t even work correctly. Although it works sometimes it tends to cut me off where is it worked perfect a few weeks ago. Google is constantly introducing new bugs into Android and into their native apps. I can tell morale must be very low because shit doesn’t work.
It’s so hard to delete anything on Discord it’s in the permanent record. It’s upsetting. I use it too, but it is a nightmare privacy wise and it has all sorts of consequences.
I mean, you buy a ticket from Ticketmaster who probably sells your data to third parties, then you slow up at the show with a ticket probably bought with a credit card or debit card. All the companies know exactly who you are and where you are at all times. This has been true for at least the last decade. You’re cell carrier knows exactly where you are just based on triangulation between network sectors. If you’re in public you’re being tracked heavily. This is worrisome, but it’s nothing new. It’s just very visual so it gets the point across better.
Linux gaming has come so far. I don’t even run Windows anymore. Especially with how much open source AI stuff I use.
Time to download or stuff in Minecraft of course.
Fuck em. I’ll just stop watching if it comes down to it. Hell, even without an alternative.
I keep getting shocked with Arch lately. Software is getting better fast with AI to boost productivity. Blender runs at light speed on a laptop with an i7-6700hq, 16GB DDR4 and a GTX 970. Even Wayland works super well!
