No I’m for term limits. Each presidential election the popular vote should go to decide the party that gets to nominate the next justice. The first one in has to retire at that same time.

I also think we should increase the size of the court and cycle in/out two every four years - somewhere around where we’d have 20 year term limits. Side bonus, I think it’d be a benefit for all of us that the court has a larger variety of voices and be more difficult to hack the way the GOP has this court.

Nah the secret is to push just enough out of the wrapper to have a bite and let the crumbs fall down into the wrapper, and repeat until you only have crumbs. Same with the second bar. Then just pour the crumbs into your mouth.

Is there room here to ask about software? I’ve been interested lately about getting into hosting my own server for multiple things. It’d be nice to be able to access it remotely for files for work, as a media server locally and remotely, and to access my Stable Diffusion instance remotely. I suppose those all require different solutions right? I’d love to know more!

Agreed, they don’t even have the cash cow that some other free OSes have in their app stores.

3/4 are Jewish which is an overwhelming majority but I also think there are great reasons to separate the classifications of Israeli and Jew. Mainly because the state is not led by the religion but instead by elected leaders.

Though that separation of church and state does seem to be diminishing as Bibi and his far right ultraorthodox cronies do seem to be slowly turning it into more of an authoritarian state.

Has the Steam Family update launched yet? The one that lifted the limitation on playing different games from the same account at the same time. I feel like last I saw it was in beta.

Was also wondering if anyone has a good sense on how they’re policing Family Libraries. Does it work to share with close friends or am I going to want to be sure I’m sharing only with household members?

All this plus I think it’s important to say to first: be EXTREMELY careful if you feel the need to critique or criticize someone who is being helpful. Really think about if it’s worth it. If what they’re doing really isn’t helping anything then maybe it’s worth it!

BUT if you just think they could do it better or if they aren’t doing it how you would do it, then think again. You might end up simply discouraging a helpful attitude that would have figured things out on their own if you had just given them a bit of vague encouragement and time.

Agreed on all accounts except for weather updates. I got my watch for the health tracking and love it for it. But I have been slowly won over by the other little things that give me info about the world at a glance but don’t take me out of it. Weather and directions especially.

I always tell people I wish the watch was the smart revolution instead of the phone because it augments daily life so well while our phones so easily become a distraction (though admittedly often a welcome one).
