I wouldn’t survive using internet without those and gdpr, cookie blockers. It’s soooo bad and getting worse.

Traction = how many views and clicks ads got. Such a useful traction for users
I assume those don’t have any sound but it’s still annoying af. Sometimes I just pause to see something. Hopefully adblocks will be able to handle this.
Especially because you can just backup authenticator to the pendrive in encrypted form. I don’t care I loose my phone, that’s exactly the reason authenticator is better.
Messenger is implementing signal protocol for interoperability, you can read this in their blog post
No, they have 6 more months to finish this still. EU granted them more time to finish this API because they filled for extension and provided them reasons why. All other DMA clauses regarding messenger other than interoperability are not included in this extension
It is measurable difference, but it’s only 0.3% more of battery life compared to dark gray. This is very good article about this: https://www.xda-developers.com/amoled-black-vs-gray-dark-mode/
People kinda stopped implementing full black once they realized that battery savings between dark gray and black is negligible
Now someone will really comment on it in 10 years and I will receive notification
This doesn’t work for many types of ads
Sharing pirated content to millions of people is stealing, I agree. But it started differently. You bought the CD and you could lend it to friend, your game worked. Right now you buy games and only you can play it. Which is different with any other form of physical good. I buy a car I can let someone drive it for a day. Why shouldn’t this apply to digital goods as well? That’s how piracy started, because we couldn’t share our goods with friends anymore. Digital companies decided it’s loss for them.
This title is one of the 15%
The problem is that between gpt 3 and 4 there is massive increase in number of parameters, but not massive increase in its abilities

That’s why adblock wanted to by default allow not annoying ads, but there was a big backlash and other adblockers became more popular like ublock
There are also Firefox forks, but you have to install apk manually and then extension are easy to download without developer collection
Google is very smart with ad prices because they are actually not constant. Advertisers have bots that bid how much they want to pay for an ad, determining based on user data how much it’s worth for them, and if your bot wins, your ad is shown. That’s why if some advertiser decides to pay a lot to a lot of user groups, the same freaking ads are being shown to you all the time
They are not OK with 2 euro per user. This is just to get people used to using paid versions for dirt cheap before they accumulate solid subscription count. After they they will either remove this family plan or make it more restrictive/expensive just like Netflix started to do
