Yeah, I came into this thread expecting to defend letting blahaj be federated with hexbear, but I’m left seeing a comment section being armwrestled by hexbear users, when this post should really be predominantly blahaj users weighing in on the pros and cons, and the impact of hexbear onto our instance.
Wouldn’t the solution then is to just ban the trolls, not moderate pronouns? If there’s going to be trolls, letting them be visible would make them easier to identify and ban, no?

honestly, I’ve never seen anything bad from kbin. only very positive. lemmy.world though… understandably most of it is all right, so I don’t think defederating is the call. specific communities with moderation issues can be blocked by users. the instances as a whole are mostly all right.
Do I still need the “I still don’t care about cookies” extension if I add the filter list?
I’ve seen a few artists online use dead electronics to make really amazing multimedia art! If you can’t figure out a way to use it technically, maybe contact such kind of artist who could use the materials artistically?
