My daughter went to RIT and got a great education with zero harassment issues.

Wow, did I misread that. At first I thought “international strikes” referred to union activity, and the tech firms were going to attack the strikers with drones!

I was a library trustee for 9 years; I learned a lot about the town and how it works. Neat stuff!

1. I’m not gonna look a memes or opinion pieces, just review genuine news articles to keep on top of things. For local elections, I may have to dig a bit, but I’ll try not to get down into the sewers.
2. I’m gonna vote for whoever is the least-bad option at every level.
3. If I actually find a candidate that I can support on their own merits, I will talk them up to neighbors, and support them monetarily.

So back in the ‘70s I dabbled in programming (now called “coding”, I hear). I only did higher-level languages like Fortran, Cobol, IBM Basic, but a friend had a job (at age 13!) programming in assembler. Is assembler now called assembly, or are they different?

My husband does this too, and when I ask “What’s up?” he coyly replies “You’ll see!” Argh!
