Better late than never, right?
Better late than never, right?
and “killing the baby”, you mean like later in life to eat?
At least in the Netherlands, the species of dairy cows are focused on dairy. If a bull is born it is raised for about half a year, then slaughtered and most often the meat is exported since calf meat isn’t popular here.
At that point they are basically still babies, or at least the meat is called “calf meat”.
I think ad space sellers wildly overestimate the effectiveness of ads and google has made it far worse with targeted ads. People have gotten used to saying things like “ads work” and “brand recognition” but does anyone know the numbers? Or is this just repeating some phrases you’ve heard?
I don’t know the numbers myself, but I’m quite skeptical.
Would love the UK back. Besides wanting it to be easier to travel there, I think it is also the best way to show how beneficial the EU is. If they already want back in after such a short period of time it sends a strong message to the many anti-EU people across the continent.
Seven
I have a pihole already, so I guess I could use that.
Any idea how much that would block?
And besides the sensors, what data is the OS collecting? Wouldn’t the Chromecast collect the same amount of data?
A coalition without the PVV would be kind of ideal for Wilders. He can keep bitching about how undemocratic the other parties are (obviously it’s not undemocratic but his voters won’t understand that) and won’t have to come up with any ideas. He can remain anti-everything and wait until the fragile coalition will inevitably fall, after which he’ll win 50 seats in parliament.
As much as I would hate to see Wilders as prime minister, I would perhaps worry more about the next elections if he can remain in the opposition.
I understand what you’re saying and I think this is what happened in Denmark, but I disagree.
We just can’t normalize xenophobia. My partner and I are of different nationalities and races and we’ve both been immigrants. Our future kids will be mixed race and might seem foreign regardless of where they live.
I don’t want to live in a society in which we normalize hatred for immigrants. I want everyone to feel welcome, I want everyone to feel like they belong.
Of course with left-leaning parties this small many foreigners already feel unwelcome, but if even left-leaning parties start with this hateful rhetoric… I would lose all hope and probably just leave. I wouldn’t feel safe to live here with my family.
Since when can the VVD be trusted??
I thought I was done when I guessed oven, but there was no clear feedback saying I won. Went to the comments for the actual answer.
So my feedback: fun game! If possible, perhaps add something like “very close” if you guess something that’s almost the answer but not quite. Or oven could have just been wrong, since that wasn’t the actual answer.
But what happens if someone sends you an email from a non-gmail account? Can you react then?
If so, does it just reply to this email with an emoji in the body? Cause then you’re basically just replying in the exact way as before, google just added a quick-reply button with a predefined body.
I’m personally not a fan of nonstandard functionality for something as ubiquitous as email. Email should be exactly the same regardless of the client that’s used.
Only know him from Party Down but this sounds cool!
Good start though, right? More than most fines for similar infractions
Sounds like a nice setup. I have an old laptop I could potentially use for this.
Thanks, will check it out!
Bizarre. But the article outlines a lot more vulnerabilities. Seems like every part of this device is poorly secured.
IOActive’s hacking technique exploited glaring security vulnerabilities they found in the shufflers, the researchers say: They bought their own Deckmates for testing from second-hand sellers, one of whom told them a password used for maintenance or repair. They found that this password and others they extracted from the Deckmates’ code were configured in the shuffler with no easy way to change them, suggesting they likely work on almost any Deckmate in the wild. They also found that the most powerful “root" password to control the shuffler—which, like all the Deckmate’s passwords, they declined to publicly reveal—was relatively weak.
This is just ridiculous / hilarious.
Very interesting and depressing article.
A fundamental reason for the lack of clarity over the role sex or drug trafficking plays in the fate of Uruguay’s missing women is that neither prosecutors nor police are looking for the evidence.
So, are the police involved in the trafficking and that’s why they’re not doing anything and withholding information? Or are they just incompetent / underfunded / undertrained?
It’s like they actively don’t want to solve these cases.
Yeah the search is not forgiving. One typo is enough to ruin the search results.
How well an area is mapped also matters a lot for search though. I now live somewhere that has all addresses in the country mapped from a government source. I didn’t before, and it’s so much easier now because at least I can just punch in the address and I’ll find whatever I’m looking for.
