Is this the one with the competing standards? Are we having a meta meme now?

Oh, snapdrop is back? The site has been unreachable for years to me
is the author seriously complaining about 3 mm added thickness on one side of a 2 kilogram notebook, or am I missing the joke here?

to be fair, the first colour picker isn’t too bad, it it?
Did you try Adobe InDesign, and how did it fail you? I believe it’s the absolute industry standard for doing any layout stuff, which creating presentations essentially is.
EDIT: Alright, I see. No linux counterpart.
more like intentionally installed malware but yes, 100 % this
depends on what you wanna see. I’d say no. Some people are spending weeks there
Went with an Interrail Global pass to a train trip through italy. We took the first class ticket because it wasn’t all that much more expensive and we’ve spent like 30 hours on the track over the period of two weeks. Be careful, though, as not all trains are free to use and you need to reserve seats which will set you back quite a few bucks.
wait, what? I’ve had a GIMP 2.x for at least 15 years now. they can’t just… increase the number?? it’s part of the program’s name now
[Completely unrelated to the content] How the heck is this post managing to crash two out of my three lemmy clients?
Libertinus Serif (much nicer Times New Roman-ish serif text font. Huge amount of glyphs, open source font license, great to read on display and on print)
Lato (Sans font which imo compliments Libertinus Serif really good. More for short texts, headlines etc. I wouldn’t recommend it as a UI font. Also permissive font license.)
I knew it was exactly this scene before even clicking the link. Iconic and a classic
more like 6 dollars on the BOM, would sell for 30 doll hairs to the consumer, tho
Apple standing on the side: 👀
AFAIK if you buy any computer from within the last 20 years, there’s a good chance you can get a 6.X Kernel running on it. 32-bit support is fading out, though. If you buy a 64-bit computer, you’ll be able (with sufficient RAM and hard disk space) to install any modern distro on it.
Semms like damn good news in a way
There’s a hackable smart watch. It’s got a screen and might not be usable for you for any productivity. Completely open source, as it seems. Called bangle.js 2, not too expensive so you might give it a shot?
Haha, love the Microsoft joke. Very accurate
