I make $1200 per month from CPP and comp, just downsized to a rooming house for $500 per month, pay $500 per month on interest fees for a line of credit I needed when I was off work for 3 yrs (owned a small business) and $50 for phone. The $150 left is groceries.
I tried to speak to my bank about lowering the fees before having to declare bankruptcy but our system doesn’t allow that. :(

Yup. Historically Quebec was treated as a second-tier province because of the religious sectarianism that migrated with the British/French colonizers. Most of Canada’s PM’s were Protestant and most of Quebecoise were RC.
After the religious aspect began fading into the background Quebecoise still felt disenfranchised (which, in reality, they were) so the focus became language/culture vs religious affiliation. Then the October crisis happened.

I’ve worked in greenhouses, growing seedlings for tree planting, vegetables and flowers. We used fungicide almost all of the time.
Insecticide was rarely used.
But glysophates were never used as that’s a herbicide. The most common one is Bayer-Monsanto’s Round-Up and used on 98% of GMO crops in Canada.
Bayer-Monsanto has been working hard to keep it on the market (even tho New Brunswick has been finding evidence that it may be the cause of an illness killing people there).
Indoor produce can be worse because of the use of fungicides.
This is what every doctor I’ve seen (in multiple provinces) has done for decades.
They used to tell me they’d only call if there were issues, but most don’t say anything anymore because it’s common practice.
You could always switch jobs with them for 2 weeks just to show them how it should be done.

The market has exactly zero rationality in it. The market doesn’t think or do anything. It’s simply economists anthropomorphising a thing that makes money for rich people.
