Candyman, thought of a dark bathroom still scares me.

As much as I love z-library, libgen or Anna’s Archive they are coming through for me for my kids books. Subjects like HVAC or construction or not showing up. Thanks for the IRC tip.
I will argue from experience that Homeassistant runs pretty damn good on a pi using an SSD. They have an image specifically for HA as well.
I’m in the same boat. I stopped for about 10 years and then setup a media server. Started with music and then movies TV series. Mostly using open directories which has been pretty great.
My wife gives me crap for this. She is one that will stay up late and still be up early.
All the tiny micro server content is great from sth.
Movie-web may have it
American Flyer
Eurovision
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
All Rush Hours
All Jphn Wicks
I love Anna’s but I am struggling find my kids books for his construction courses on all the options out there.
Remember, hacking is more than a crime. It’s a survival trait.
I found jellyfin easier to setup then plex and the dashboard is much nicer. I also love the quick connect option when logging into new devices.
Today is my first day using lemmy on a desktop and not a mobile device. It was certainly not easy on mobile but finding and subscribing to communities was easy once I used desktop. But mobile is certainly not a good way to start. I would recommend to anyone starting out use web browser on your desktop first and then you can transition to mobile.
Thanks for the reply, I think I got it now. What confused me was the “it’s like email” part. I understand I can send to/receive from yahoo, AOL etc. But I can’t log into them with my Gmail. So I was thinking I would need a sing-in for beehaw and others.
And don’t make me listen to all the prompts to only have to guess which is the correct one, and then be transferred because I was incorrect.
But if I want to subscribe to an instance on beehaw or kbin I need to have an account for those correct?
I am like you. But mine is more of, if I type it out that is good enough for me and I will move on to the next post feeling satisfied.
