why don’t all our cars look like catfish?

that’s really fucked up. don’t get me wrong, i’m not judging you, our culture has probably fucked me up the same way as you, i just dont happen to have kids. but not preparing kids for the real actual world is fucked up, and there is a serious disconnect with reality being instilled by our culture in them, and also in you to make that happen. my point is that it is a serious dysfunction in modem culture required to make happen.
everything my parents ever did.
that’s kind of awesome. the inverse of your story is what ive seen more often, the promotion that is more work for no more pay. both reflect the same corporate dysfunction.
laptop is just a more expensive desktop but it lets you do what you’d do on a desktop from the couch, bed, deck, coffee shop. it all depends on your habits.
note that this damage is not necessarily in the form of dissolving. it causes some plastics to develop fractures, as if you had dropped it. dont use iso on plastic unless you know it is a kind that it is safe for.
BTW, i just just want to plug for this fact: we are all totally brainwashed by marketing that we need special cleaners for each specific thing. dishsoap or some general purpose soap like Dr bronners and water works fine for just about everything.
I don’t remember what I did afterward anymore, but I did once have a laptop get wet getting caught in a downpour in backpack that wasnt waterproof. It needed a new power supply.
Then “your welcome” implies you might not be welcome. Seems like either both work or both are problematic, he can’t have it both ways.
The way you use caution saying something in a public place that you don’t want everyone to hear is by keeping your voice down so that only certain people can hear it. Without privacy settings there is no equivalent to that.
Does any of that explain the 404? An even 400ml is very close to 14 imperial ounces. 14.078. 404 makes it further off and a weird number in any units I’ve tried coverting it to.
But they are doing that themselves already. I think they care because handling takedowns creates work for them and because they may be taking down search results that generate them ad revenue.
The thing is, some of the really bad cases still get modeling jobs, which says that someone thinks the bad cases actually look good.
Even some of the subtler cases look off to me, giving a certain distinctive artificial look. I don’t doubt that if you see it enough it starts to look natural, but to me that just makes it worse.
Isn’t Waze better, functionalitywise, than google maps? I dont think they are any better on ethical fronts, but still better to use the less powerful evil…
Fwiw there is low power heat tape you can buy to run along pipes to keep then from freezing. Had this on a pipe that ran through an attic and would freeze when the outside temp got extreme, despite heating the house.
Well “it’s human nature” can indeed be a cop out. It shouldn’t be a discussion ender. And it shouldn’t be a justification. Murder is a part of human nature too. However it is a reality to be worked with. And one can ask, in what conditions is this behavior brought out, and in what conditions discouraged?
Oh I agree with you. I didn’t mean asking why was flawed, but specifically asking why with the implicit assumptions we tend to carry about human actions being rational and conscious. I agree that asking “why is this a part of human nature?” is a good question.
Asking why like this has the implicit flawed premise that human behaviors like this are products of conscious thought. They are not. (I don’t mean this as a criticism of you particularly, it is inherent in our culture to look at everything humans do as if it were rational and conscious, despite the reality that so much is it is not.)
I’d answer this by saying it is human nature. Most people don’t think about it and are not aware they are doing it. Many might even deny it. This is not to say individuals can’t stop and reflect and be conscious and rational about. Some do but most don’t.
I’ve only had non-convection toaster ovens and the one thing they did better than my air frier is toast. My air frier tends to dry out the toast by the time it’s properly browned. However I’ve never had a problem with it blowing food around.
