A lot of that research isn’t done by these companies. Further, their marketing budget is often huge, the research budget is often lower than that.

That’s what a bot would say! /s
Google: Norway EVs.
Why would they need to turn anything off? That’s not how they expand capacity in the Netherlands. Why would it be needed?
Ah, the magical technological advancement that is only possible with hydrogen. While ignoring the advancements with EVs.
At the moment, hydrogen production is too costly, energy wise.
EVs are already way more efficient. You’re repeating things that have been discussed ages ago as something new.
It seems crazy expensive compared to what it would cost in the Netherlands. No advertisement, but check prices on e.g. the site Solar Bouwmarkt. There’s still loads of costs aside from the panels themselves, so please add everything up. Still, if you think that was a good price I wonder if you know the costs involved.
You’re really claiming all those murdered citizens are Hamas?
Russia started this war. They then expanded the war. The cause is Russia but you blame others.
Something similar has been asked loads and loads of times. It’s not needed to investigate, just searching for previous discussions is enough. It sometimes surprises me that people don’t read one of the many times the same was asked before. That said, despite the same questions coming up many times there’s often multiple people who will gladly explain things. So I agree that it doesn’t make sense to complain about it. I’m a bit surprised that nothing would come up though. It really gets asked regularly.
It requires you to replace your window manager, all the little tools related to things like clipboard, automation, screen locking,…
You use requires but those are not requirements. It applies to some cases.
That is a lot of work to put into a project that has a sketchy history
Sketchy history? Seems biased.
Use Ublock Origin, not Ublock.
Its a global positioning system
But it’s not GPS. When referring to a generic system they use GNSS as abbreviation.
The generic term is not GPS, it’s GNSS.
Netherlands
You cannot easily tear up the concrete
Concrete near houses is wasteful. In NL stones are used instead. Installing a charger is easy. There are loads and loads of chargers. In my city they are at most 50 meters apart from each other.
I completely disagree with pretty much everything you said based upon how NL does it. It’s easy, it doesn’t take a long time, it doesn’t affect anyone sleeping, etc.
I have to assume somebody’s done a cost analysis
I don’t get why you assume there’s a cost analysis that could be accurate over the reported productivity increases of working remotely.
It’s likely the obvious, a change that isn’t good but it’s done anyway because people in a company often do not do what’s good for the company, they chase what’s good for them personally.
Enable Ublock origin. It’ll be faster when it doesn’t need to load ads.
They take up way less space than what’s allocated for cars. But because it appears different you’ll not notice that the car parking takes away so much space that could be allocated to e.g. a wider sidewalk, dedicated bike lines, more green, or parking for more space efficient methods of transport such as rental scooters.
He showed us that the government sticks it’s fingers into social media in ways that are illegal
That’s what a few right wing media repeatedly claim but I haven’t seen anyone actually providing any proof. Or do you mean the recent crazy judge decision?
Why do you assume the West? China often expands to other Asian countries. Or pretend to. E.g. after tariffs are applied to China you’ll often see a huge increase in intra Asia trade. Followed by different Asian countries heavily increasing their exports. Usually by hiding the true origin (tariffs are applied to the origin, not some transhipment place).
