Hey lets invent 14 new gender identitets 😎
Hey lets invent 14 new gender identitets 😎
Here’s one without trackers that work in a browser https://ftvt.fiona.onl/
I helped a bit making the recording part 🤓
Debian with kde, because it looked a bit like Windows.
Then slackware because it was supposedly a “simple” Linux distro. Apparently simple doesn’t mean simple to use for a newbie…
Damn now you made me want to learn COBOL just for the meme…
Same, but I guess if you have a idea you want to build then using a language you are already comfortable with makes it a lot smoother than learning one that could be a better fit.
For sure, I don’t think I strictly belong to either of the stereotypes
People here are apparently either foss neckbeards or transfems/femboys, and they are all valid.
Trans dev here, I hear that hacker spaces aren’t bad places to look. I wouldn’t know though, too shy to actually show up -.-
I agree with you, but I also think people find Discord convenient because it’s just 1 account and free to use.
I wonder if Lemmy and the rest of the fediverse can work here, or just anything where smaller free projects don’t necessarily have to pay for and maintain their own community infrastructure, and still allow users to jump around without getting too locked in.
I’m a bit annoyed with element X tbh, my home server only has sso logins, but they don’t support that and the error message doesn’t explain this at all, which means it’s up to me to figure out if I’m doing it wrong, my home server is doing something wrong, or the app is just bad at communicating errors.
What are the preferred alternatives?
Mine is probably matrix, mostly because I can use the same account everywhere, but it also feels like there’s a lot of gotchas and all the phone apps are kinda meh each in their own unique way.
From a what?
But you should probably touch it before all the dependencies are outdated. And before everyone who understands how to work with it has left. Especially if it happens to be core to the business.
:)
My mom suggested it. I thought it was the most stupid name suggestion so far, but smiled and nodded because I was happy that we were having a genuine talk about my transition without the negativity that we would often end up with.
After a few months I realized that I kinda love it and, as you say, nothing really clicked the same way. It’s been about 2 years since I legally changed it and I still get a warm feeling when people use it :)
Also, nothing weird about the name Eva! If it feels weird to tell people how you came up with it, you are allowed to not mention that the idea came from a TV show.
At least one danish politician used his parliament email address to purchase stuff from them.
Went to local lgbt groups trans meeting for the first time. Was pretty cool, but crap i’m not used to that level of socializing.
I also got angry enough at my doctor prescribing hrt to look for alternatives. Feels empowering in a way that it shouldn’t do.
There’s cis men who do Lazer hair removal, but depending on your body it’s not as effective as others t suppressed.
I think what has worked best for me was getting to know some of the things to do that makes the voice more feminine, and then spend a lot of time doing the things while recording myself so I can immediately hear if I did it right and what happens if I combine them.
It kinda sucks that it requires actually listening to the voice tho 🥲
I kinda wonder og there’s a translation issue in the title because it looks kinda absurd, in a if it wasn’t sad it would be kinda funny way?
