The most important part about learning a musical instrument is consistent practice.
1 hour twice per week is not as good as 20 minutes every single day. And you do have to play every day if you want to improve. Work on one thing at a time and most importantly: use a metronome.
Guitar is a meditation exercise: you have to learn to love the process. If you aren’t having fun, maybe it just isn’t for you.
Your Beeness
Yes! That was the best Wing Commander game.
In no particular order:
Just picked it up for Steam Deck a few days ago, actually. It works great running natively, but I haven’t run the Windows version.
I don’t see a reason to re-buy it unless you’re having Proton issues with the one that you already have.
Dan Savage is the best in the biz.

The Best Ever Death Metal Band in Denton is a certified banger despite being one of their sillier songs.
That’s wild, I thought crows lived everywhere humans do.
Oh sure, I just think there’s some overlap because the cast on Dungeons & Daddies are all filmmakers themselves so they go for more of a cinematic presentation than any other D&D podcast I’ve heard.
Personally I wouldn’t play D&D again because it’s not my kind of system, but they don’t waste your time like other AP podcasts I’ve tried.
But hey if it’s not your thing, no big deal; it’s kind of a nice thing to know about yourself.
Film Reroll is a top-tier AP podcast.
If you like them, check out Dungeons and Daddies; it has a similar energy. I wish they’d guest on each other’s shows!
I walked into Katz’s Delicatessen and ordered the pastrami reuben. One bite later and I knew my life would never be the same.
Love me some KSR.
His Mars series is my sci-fi Lord of the Rings.
Just wanted to say this comment got me interested in a Kratky setup, should have the rest of the equipment later today. Thanks for sharing!
Gonna start off with some leafy greens and see how it goes.
Nobody cares what you say except Fox News addicts who make imagined persecution their entire identity.
Lemm.ie really should be an instance (Don’t bother clicking, it’s a domain squatter).

We did have the tape storage, but only one or two games that ran off of that. I do remember the tapes were painfully slow to load though.
I think tapes were more common in the UK while floppies were more prevalent in the US.
First one I remember was the Commodore 64.
We used to type programs into it from my Dad’s books just so we’d have more games to play on it. When it didn’t run, my brother and I would have to check the code again line-by-line.
Also, we didn’t know how to write to disk, so if someone powered it off that game was gone.
There is no inherent meaning; everyone must find their own.
For me, it’s to try and leave my little patch of the world better than I found it.
