Yo those stock recommendations are actually nuts. I just looked at their 5 year and lifetime charts and you’re not lying. It’s 45 degrees the whole way basically.

Yea this is it, thanks for dropping this. I’m going to have so much fun with this.
Ah what a bummer! Thanks for the response, I really appreciate it.
Well, you are going from AMD to Nvidia, so there is a significant upgrade just in that. When I did my switch, I swore never to go back to AMD Gpu’s. But also going to a much more modern card than an almost 8 year old one would make anyone’s rig feel better. Glad you have a good card now!
1080 gang rise up.
But seriously, my 1080 does fine for most things, and I have a 2k 144hz monitor. It’s JUST starting to show its age as I can’t blast everything on high/ultra anymore and have to turn down the biggest fps guzzling settings.
The year is 0079…
I find it’s a good way to demo games. Get it free, if I like it enough after a few hours I’ll go buy it on GoG or Steam and continue to play it on there.
They have people on the hook for sure. I honestly think a lot of it comes from the fact that progression carries over for the people who have sunk a lot of time into it recently as well as bringing back older maps from the CoD’s I used to play and getting older players back in. I, for one am not buying any of it. I’m just kind of worn out by the whole franchise in general.
Alien: Isolation is another good example of this. Actually terrifying to be hunted by the AI as well.
They are extra programs to add extra stability to the game when heavily modded. It goes hand in hand with vortex, just a real big pain in the ass because when I mod using vortex I get a little too over zealous with the mods. It also allows you to merge mods together to further increase the amount of mods because you’re capped at a certain number and also helps clean up loose code in the base game that is redundant. It gets to be a bit much, and I was controlling myself from that inevitably.
Damn unfortunate for me because this time around I didn’t feel like using TES5Edit, Loot, and whatever other programs you needed to mod it properly and just did some light modding through the in game mod manager. Guess I’m just gona unplug my ethernet cable and launch it in offline mode for a few weeks.
So how do I force steam to not update skyrim so it doesn’t break my mods?

Didn’t think a dream that I hadn’t dreamt yet would be crushed before I could even dream about it…
Years back I was part of a focus group for VR and one of the questions they asked me was how accepting I would be of ads in game and well they got the most heated response from me with that one.
Yea so it was released on Steam on Oct 20, 2022 so only a month after survivor.io released. Pretty crazy how similar they are. I can imagine that they were in development at the same time, I wonder if they took inspiration from the same source and put their own spin on it.
Survivor.io seems to be a crappy copy of Vampire Survivors which the base game is free on the play store and a lot better imo.
Man, steams user base has more than tripled since I started using it… and I thought I came in a bit late.
