I wonder what happens when you scratch them

Didn’t wanna be friends with those le redditors anyways
Good point never thought of it like that before. I love Bill Clinton, Neoliberalism is radical. Did you know he played the saxophone? So cool. Slava USA
You know they are gonna have a special EU model. I can feel it.
God forbid you have to make an additional account that takes 2mins so you can do your pirating! Only people complaining probably aren’t worth listening to, and don’t really understand how the fediverse is meant to work.
Then don’t use lemmy.world it’s that simple. Communities can have whatever outside connections they want. Lemmy.world is the big normie/liberal/redditor instance. If that’s not what you want you can always join another instance closer to your tastes/beliefs/management style.
Seriously, at least on Jerboa you can literally just swap between accounts. You can subscribe to certain communities on each account or just filter by All. People complain too much.
I don’t mean to shit on anyone who would rather use an open source decentralized platform over privately owned Reddit, but Lemmy.World is definitely the most obnoxious large instance, with a lot of people still holding over a lot of those reddit toxicity mannerisms. On top of that the admins/devs of that instance are always having major technical issues that they can’t seem to overcome. Wish them the best though.
I know this is a Saddam meme but can we get a community for cool cross section postings
It honestly depends on your local municipality. Where I live they don’t take anything but straight up hard plastic that is cleaned, and clean cardboard, cleaned tin cans. Anything else they don’t process. And even then they’re probably throwing out the whole truck of recyclables cause one dingus didn’t clean out a can and it got tomato soup on everything else. Recycling is honestly a scam in America, especially once China stopped buying our waste years ago.
You know it’s objectively bad design when people have to make third party software to make your website not suck. Especially a shame for a company so large they have entire teams of engineers for each little component in the application.
Nice try, Steve
I believe he’s referencing the decision on the Harvard affirmative action case, not the student debt relief decision. Supreme Court has been busy this week!
It’s okay when we do it 😎😎😎
Libertarianism happened, in conjunction with a few signed waivers.
I think worrying about people making fun of some rich ass billionaires dying for doing something stupid, is the last hill you should choose to die on. These people made their riches and wealth by exploiting normal people like you and me.
You don’t have to actively root for their deaths, but I’m certainly not shedding any tears for them experiencing the consequences of their own actions.
Anyone who doesn’t think Israel is willingly and consciously committing genocide is living under a rock. This has been their standard operating procedure since at least the 70s. The strategy is to boil the frog just slowly enough to avoid international outrage, and continue to get western aid. But not too quickly as to enrage other Middle Eastern powers.
It’s also a factor of Russia not competently executing the initial invasion and got themselves bogged down. Similar to the Germans in WW1 on the western front, they got bogged down before they could take their key objectives, but the eastern front remained mostly mobile during the war because of the vast size of the front, and they eventually won on that front. Because you either win by our maneuvering your enemy an encircling them, or attriting the hell out of them till they have nothing left, and I think the pendulum has swung again towards a defensive advantage, especially with UAVs and remote mine laying systems, and precision artillery munitions.
It’s a big part of why US doctrine is so focused on quick fast and overwhelming assaults and a strike first mentality. Even in Desert Storm they were severely worried about being bogged down by the Iraqi Army and starting a prolonged conflict with massive American losses. So it was imperative to flank the Iraqi Army from the western desert by the French Armored Corps.
It’s understandably difficult when the Ukrainians fail to make gains, but it’s Russian incompetence when they do it?
Dual boot doesn’t work anymore with win11, it requires secure boot to be enabled, so the grub boot loader won’t work. Idk if anyone has found a work around though.
