To be honest, I don’t think that’s entirely just a Reddit thing. Power tripping mods have been around as long as Internet forums have in general. It’s a tough one to combat for sure.
11 year old account here, I’m getting ready to pull the trigger. So much time spent on niche subs that will be hard to replace, but I suppose that means I should be more active in any similar counterparts on Lemmy to help them grow and flourish.

North Georgia here. Wife and I have been up to visit friends near Seattle a few times with another trip planned this year. We. Love. It. Being so close to so many proper mountains is just such a breathtaking thing that we don’t really have where we are. Don’t get me wrong, the Appalachians are nice, but we were just in awe seeing Mount Rainier above the clouds during our first flight in to the area.
Quake III but no I or II? I see you’ve got DOOM on your list, I’m curious, did you not like the first two quake games or just didn’t play them? Otherwise you’ve got my list down pat (plus a few extras).
