I too miss my build in IR blaster from my S3.
I too miss my build in IR blaster from my S3.
Lemmy has no total score anymore, so the up and down votes only matter in the topic layer. I think that’s the best solution rn. There’s no big incentive any longer to point farm.
Basically. It’s a complicated economy issue. But lets say there’s not just monetary debt, but also structural debt. Our infrastructure is old, a lot has to be repaired by making debts. But they refuse to, thing is, the bridges will collapse at some point, literally, if you don’t build new ones. This will all come back to hunt our economy as no train will deliver, no truck will be able to use the highway as a lot of bridges are broken. Same with schools, you get less educated people, which then on average produce less wealth. In short term you save money, in the long term the world will move on without you. Every economist knows, a little debt is perfect as it works in sync with the capitalism we all live in. However the payment for the dept shouldn’t outgrow the economy, that’s the only rule. Making no new debts sounds good on paper, but no young person will say “thank you” when they grew up with bad education, a broken economy and an inhabitable planet. Now is the best time to make debts to fix big issues.
Germany’s
autobahn bridgesfalling apart
Thanks to not making any debts. It’s all the infrastructure, I don’t think a single one isn’t about to break down.

After Endgame I think only the spider-man one’s are okay. I stopped watching the rest because I’m pretty fed up with the MCU and going by all their business decisions lately I highly doubt I’d like any of the new content.
I want more movies like Logan, hyper realistic down to earth heroes. Let Denis Villeneuve direct one.
Because it’s easier to put someone in a suite than teach them years of experience of drilling. You might remember that even the experianced driller had trouble. They also send astronauts with them as well to do the astronaut things, not just the driller crew.
The smashing into things thing and still taking off…well the movie was supposed to have a happy end for the remaining crew. It would’ve still been a happy end to have them die, but this way you get a lovely reunion with the families.
I don’t know you, but if you go by questioning plot-armor, you’ll have a really hard time to find something to watch.
We don’t know how much of that was for the multiplayer. I’m probably wrong though, and that’s not a bad thing.
I don’t care about the hype. I won’t get myself hyped either. I already didn’t like the trailer graphics, which looked kind of cartoonish. The gameplay will show, but they got so many billions from the online mode, that I’m not sure if they even bother delivering a good long singleplayer and not just focus mostly on the online play. I only care about the single player, where I’m not harassed by cheaters and shop popups, begging and nagging me to buy worthless online money.
Now they probably will provide a single player, maybe even a great one, as RDR2 has shown they are still capable after all. I will probably try the online mode but the last GTA was loading simulator and cheater party. And when I looked how grindy it is to get anything I stopped right away.
Alternative messenger exist, I should’ve been more precise. At this point an alternative would require at least the same features than discord, to get people away from it. I don’t see that happen.
It would grow. Just to have the ability would be nice. A lot of people also would start to write reviews to be the first etc. We got to start somewhere, same as with the Fediverse. We could even combine it.
It’s about a quick glance on a location and reading some reviews quickly. There is a workaround with open street maps integrating google reviews but it’s again relying on google at this point.
Yeah this is the biggest issue.
Discord. I hate that premium costs so much and all the ads they put in place to sell useless junk features.
Google maps. So open street maps but with reviews like maps has. A few days ago people suggested apps, but they lack reviews. I disagree that they are useless.
You’re beyond help. Literally any action makes Moskau say “stop or we nuke” it’s a kindergarten threat at this point.
Defeating an attacker is provoking nuclear wall? Get your head out of Putin’s asshole.
Asus would do good in hiring a real lawyer. Parents accept, kid uses router, data collected of child, illegal. So easy to rip them a new one.
Welcome and enjoy your stay. Here are a lot of communities with similar interests, but still a bit less content. It’s growing however. I sadly still visit Reddit too often, but I always open Lemmy Connect app first.
I hate the ever growing hidden ads on Reddit. I spot them daily now. Threads created to clearly sell you a product or software, with astroturf comments “wow this is freaking amazing. I’m downloading it right now.” sure you enjoyed this okayish post so much and it totally doesn’t sound obvious, that there are 10 more comments in this 15 comments thread, all saying the same. Or this unnatural amount of votes. 🤢🤮
Not when you’re new in an unknown city. In my local city the ratings still make sense, I compared it with my own experience, so why would that change drastically elsewhere? It’s often the only option you have, visiting every website individually is too time consuming and doesn’t tell you anything about the service either. I bet even you look at reviews. It’s easy to say their are faked but there is no non faked alternative.
YouTube shorts are already a thing.
