I’ve got a Switch and a Deck, and I can’t fathom all these replies saying the Deck is just as good for Switch. It’s not, and it’s not worth playing games at 90 or 95% performance when you want 100% performance. “Playable” to “native performance” is such a big step. Plus, it costs more.
Subscribe to Disney Plus and also trial Anystream. So long as the service has dubs, you can pick and choose what gets embedded in your download (720p max). You will need a license for a show that long, but the trial can prove it works on a few episodes.
You can download the books you buy with credits, and also anything currently in the Plus catalogue. I’ve found this very helpful as they remove things from the Plus catalog with very short notice periods, so you may not get to finish books you start. (And I remember stuff like how Salman Rushdie books were removed when he was in the news from the assassination attempt. Maybe that was publishers seeing dollar signs not Amazon, idk, but it was gross. Same when Sean Lock died.)

Someone spent a while telling me Nier Automata was great, and it took a couple years before I got independently interested. My punishment is the same fate, of telling others it’s great, and no-one trying it.

I’ve only used Jellyfin, but I struggle to imagine Plex being much easier - it was a piece of piss to just run the installer and point at my folders. Complexity only comes when doing stuff like making it available over the internet.

Playnite can do game time from Epic and Steam, plus its own accounting for any .exe you can launch through it.
Your first line is straight up misinformation. Epic has remarkably few games with DRM, mostly from big publishers implementing their own. I’ve yet to find an indie that can’t be launched directly as an .exe. Same with Cyberpunk 2077, launches directly without issue.
The only singleplayer game I can’t play offline is Hitman, just like on Steam, because their publisher sucks.
The user is being hyperbolic, but is referring to their substantial role in popularising loot boxes, as well as the marketplace that has spawned a real gambling industry around it. Kids gamble on 3rd party sites for marketplace prizes and Valve does very little to interfere.
The original predates mobile. Looks like Netflix have put this one on mobile. Still very good so don’t let that put you off.
The multiplayer is full of ultra skilled people who have played for years, so a steep curve. Best FPS campaign ever though, so I recommend it for that.

Wonderputt Forever - £2.20. Prettiest minigolf game, animated to excess. Less than an hour to beat unless you go for optional challenges. You may have played the original flash game a decade ago.
I’d honestly suggest using your ears and deciding if you can tell the difference. My music library is under 20GB so I do not fuss too much, but I am not truly sure I can tell the difference.
