well, I am using vim, but I don’t know how to use vim.
Am I vimming?
The worst kind of an Internet-herpaderp. Internet-urpo pahimmasta päästä.

oh cool, bought the game aaaages ago, seems it has received a lot of content. Probably need to check back into it :o
this is me, doing php and javascript on daily basis.
I do use blender quite a bit, but haven’t really used much of the video editor. Last time I tried it CTD’d contantly. If it has gotten stable, reasonable audio tools and gpu accelerated video output, it might be a contender.
thank you for the tip, will check it out.
Essentially what I need is 3+ audiotracks, compressors for each and master. Then annotate with images/text whatever video there is. And yes it’s gameplay videos mostly.
lossless cut not really a concern, but I’d like to have the end result rendered out fast, so nvenc (current hardware) or so would be grand.
But, will expirement!
Most of my stuff works on Linux now, so, yay. Currently only thing holding me back from doing a full switch is essentially video editing.
My current go-to video editor is Vegas Pro, and it just works like an extension of me, for me. I’ve tried few editors on linux (kdenlive, davinci) but they’re either very limited/odd/user-error-id10t or just doesn’t support video formats I need (davinci, free version doesn’t support h264 or hevc, and not feeling like shelling north of 300 USD for it). Next up on my testing plate is Shotcut, but haven’t gotten around to it yet.
Part of me wants to experience the shitshow first hand, seems like an absolute riot. Realistically tho, never happening, I’ll probably look up some gameplay video at some point.
you might have to explain the joke a bit. I get that jokes don’t get better with explaining, but… I don’t get it
Both seem reasonable. The banning is (AFAIK) mostly to prevent cheaters from making made-up familymember steam -accounts, and cheating in games as them. Once one made-up family member is banned, make another.
Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles … but with the caveats that a) it’s only PARTLY like stardew/portia/harvestmoon and b) For the life of me I can’t remember if the game had money or not.
The game is partly farm-life-sim, but the other part is “zelda-like” adventuring and getting rid of “dark smoke thing” that does bad things to the world.
Okay, sure, when given the fps camera, closest things to the camera are getting noticed. Duh?
But all things considered, who cares about a single goblin toe? Im much more scarred about the thongs happening in nearby shed. Bleach please.
But at that scale there’s always gonna be compromises. Duh. Does somebody actually expect full fidelity between 3rd person and closeups all the time? Might be showing my age but I sure don’t. What kind of madnes is that?
Games don’t need the show everything, leave a bit to imagination. Sure visuals ate cool, but don’t let that be all there is to it.
man, it’s been ages since I last saw this movie. Sober me’s todo for tomorrow: meaning of life, python. GET. ON. IT.
“20$ is 20$”
which said it first: kofi -funded developer or onlyfans star?
don’t we all? But we’re here to make boring business software for MBA’s
https://xkcd.com/323/ this? and the fact that most of my programming breakthroughs have come while in “two beers” territory.
edit: actually, no. MOST of my programming breakthroughs have dawned on me while sitting on the can. But second most is “two beers down”.
I’ve always thought the “buy me a cup of coffee” was a thinly veiled euphemism for “give me beer”
edit: also, I have contributed. There’s this one android app that works to translate between different wargaming/miniature painting paint brands (as in color matching), the dev straight up asks for a contribution for beer. It was so brutally honest I had to.
the bin and cue files are a cd/dvd image. IIRC you can’t mount those directly, but you can convert them to iso with bin2iso
(there are probably other tools too)
iso file you can mount something like mount -o loop /path/to/my-iso-image.iso /mnt/iso
and then pull the files out from there.
As for directly pulling files out from bin/cue… dunno.
