It urged the US, a Council of Europe observer state, to “urgently reform” the 1917 Espionage Act to exclude its application to publishers, journalists and whistleblowers who disclose classified information with the intent to raise public awareness about serious crimes.
I’m sure we’ll get right on that.
Isn’t that the point of terrorism? Isn’t that what they want?
I was thinking something like this for jobs on the fediverse would be great, then thought it would probably be filled with high paying, highly technical jobs or low paying garbage jobs, or both with no between space. I’d love to be wrong.
I didn’t have any issues either. And IDC about self-signed certs, from reputable people, either.
Thanks so much!
Seconding the thank you. I’d forgotten about many of those as well, and some I don’t recall having ever known.
I enjoy them, very much.
It’s really hard to list any news sources that I don’t read with a few kilos of salt. DN! seems one of the more trustworthy, and Amy Goodman makes it work on a very slim budget; and for that reason, she’s simply not able to cover everything, and maybe that’s good, because it gives us time to really think about what they publish. I can tell you the only reason I miss TV is for local coverage, and even then, it’s also best taken with a few kilos of salt.
It’s a mess and another reason to eliminate middle men. I’m okay with data being collected for WHO, for purposes of tracking morbidity and mortality, and modality for treatment, but I’d be interested in digging into how those rules are written, too.
It’s just self signed, if the maintainers of those instances can keep them running despite greedy, horrible yt shenanigans, I’m fairly confident in their ability and self interest, in proper security.
“You didn’t allow us to investigate ourselves.”
The Biden administration is so concerned they will continue to prop up a terrorist regime.
You’re welcome. Thank you, too. I’ve followed you so I hope that lets me learn more about you as a person, and your country, as a whole. May you be happy and well.
If the people are happier, that’s a starting point. I’d like to see more on-the-ground, fair coverage of your nation. It’s hard to have any opinion, let alone an informed opinion, without media attention.
Please do share more, whenever and in whatever discussions you’re inclined. I’m interested!
Thanks for the reply. The corruption seems to be an issue in most governments. Do most Iraqis you know think life is better or worse since Hussein is no longer in power?
Since we really only hear what little our media publishes about military operations, and the coming and going of the military, can you please tell us a little about it?
Wish the brigaders would read that thread
It’s mainly because of “perks.”
