I’m a big proponent of buying government surplus office printers. I have this huge print center collater thing that came with more toner than I’ll ever use in my life. $55

People generally won’t accept implants for things like that. Supposedly Biofire has a pretty reliable smart gun coming out any time now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cRm9BMxl90
These are the kinds of people who go on the Internet and claim that dishwashers don’t work very well.
How is it hard to root for the anonymity of people? This is pretty cut-and-dry.
I never click on these, but I feel like if they made it explicit that this ad is to determine whether this kind of game is wanted, I’d feel much better clicking on it.
Anti cheat as a fundamental design does not necessarily mean no anti cheat.
How are they handling this? Would a VPN get you around it or is it based on where the service subscription is based?
Good cheat prevention needs to be part of the game’s fundamental design, not some virus as a band-aid.
Not as of right now, it isn’t. I was disappointed to see none when I searched.
Yeah, I fell for this once a year ago and was dumbfounded to only get 480p when I paid for “UHD”. Never paying again. Great job, bean counters.
Speaking of degrading search results, people have begun phrasing questions like they would search queries so much that now when you search “how to X” it seems more likely to find a person posting a question worded “how to X” than it is to find actual answers.
Do investors really love it? Is there anyone as stupid as the group-think whole that believes that will stop even one act of piracy?
All these idiotic measures have clearly driven more people to piracy…
Can we please stop acting like every firmware update they push is some major recall?
Isn’t hyperloop like the opposite kind of transit to your typical public transit of the type he hates? Like, the only thing it can really compete with is airlines for long distance rapid transit.
I got a huge office printing center thing from government liquidation out of my nearby military base for $55. It came with more toner than I could ever use in my lifetime.
The right source for this kind of stuff is the NHTSA’s database, but you can’t manufacture juicy headlines from that.
Even the Lending Tree “article” has a disclaimer at the top that they haven’t reviewed or approved any of it.
Last time a garbage clickbait hit-piece like this pissed me off, I looked into the crash statistics myself and found Tesla vehicles were around 1/80th the average crash ratio per capita.
I’m sure this is somewhat skewed by the kinds of people driving them versus the average work vehicles and clunkers out there, but still, it just feels absurdly false to claim Teslas even approach the highest crash rate.
And even the sketchy “study” not even endorsed by the site it’s posted to, then linked by Forbes, then says Ram vehicles as the highest crash rate (lol), so it’s wild that Forbes goes on to say it’s Tesla at the top spot.
They’re so brave.
