  • Stop feeding the trolls.

You really refer to your stepson as your wife’s son in casual conversation? That’s highly unusual. You can’t respond to a text conversation over the internet because you’re going to go do something for an hour or two? This is dishonest as fuck, the guy is clearly mentally handicapped based on the post history and you’re baiting him, be it consciously or unconsiously, so that you can farm fake internet updoot points.

Stop filling the fediverse with your reddit tier personal drama. No one gives a fuck that a moron is capable of typing a post on internet. You’re acting a clown responding to it genuinely, and validating it with this blog post. This is how these people find the motivation to band together and make their little incel cults.

  • You were fired because you suggested signage that told prospective patients where they could find the business location? Because you suggested that patients use the regular business line to call the business? Sounds to me like you dodged a bullet getting fired from a place like that. Sucks the followup gig sucks too.

Remember: insurance companies exist to extract money from their customers so they can give it to businesses, and do not exist in order to insure goods and services against risk. It’s bullshit, agreed.

  • Big game media journalism site claimed the devs were sexist because of a poorly translated tweet. Devs ignored this drama and instead focused on promoting their game. Game media journalists got mad they were being ignored and continued to pump articles bashing the game for months before it’s release. Game releases, it’s good and people like it. Devs continue to ignore controversies and focus on marketing and promoting their game.

Idk how any of that ties into the DDOS if at all, but that’s the main controversy I’ve seen for the past couple months.

  • It doesn’t matter what you think about AI. It’s very clear that this technology is here to stay and will only improve. From this point on AI will become deeply integrated into human culture and technology, after all we’ve been fetishizing it for almost 100 years now. Your only logical option as a developer is to learn how to use it and abuse it. Choosing not to do so is career suicide, possibly even societal suicide depending on how quickly adoption happens.

You’re probably right, in the near future people that can’t use it will be fired. To that point they should be fired. Why the fuck would I allow my accounts to do their financal work on paper when Excel exists?

    Welcome to the future.
