You mean a fullscreen app with controler support like retropi? :D

But in the end of the day, there is no intended way to turn off Telemetry fully.
I stopped using every messenger besides signal and Matrix. Even my not tech savy parents are using signal now - its in my opinion the better solution to stand your ground and may push others into using the better apps
Did you tried DivestOS? Its my favorite Rom for the op6
OnePlus 6 and 6T had really broad custom Rom support, it is till now one of the best Phones for linux(pmOS) With some Roms you can even relock the bootloader
OpenSUSE back in the early 2000s. Since my parents got a new PC and the old one from '99 wasnt able to run Windows XP properly
My banking App works fine on GrapheneOS. At all i didnt really had any app so far which isnt working on GOS with sandboxed Google Services
If you want to keep it simple, just go with Gentoo
My Gaming PC is Nobara(so Fedora) and my Notebook Arch.
Some Fdroid Version may have less trackers or replace Google Services(Signal-FOSS/Molly or Telegram for example use a own push service)
My first step is always to add the Molly and Bitwarden repos.
Few years ago(maybe 10) it was still recommended or even necessary to use IE for a lot of goverment Internet Services here in Germany. The online Zoll handling for example. I think a lot of goverments are not really into accesibility optimization.
I will allways go for used Thinkpads. Best value
Since there is ‘archinstall’ setting up arch is really straight forward. Just Boot from stick, type archinstall and fill up all points, done.
From shell
winget install --id=Mozilla.Firefox -e
For example
I didnt watch the full Video, but all games i saw in the clip are native Windows games with no offical port for linux
But Windows is usally the system the games are optimized for. Its impressiv how well proton/wine work these days :)
If its only cuz of the unlocked bootloader have a look at DivestOS, Graphene or Calyx
Edit: i use my ING Banking App on my Pixel 6 with graphene and before on my OP6 with Divest
