Wtf? The state doesn’t own our bodies.
News and the media in general preys on fear. They want you to be terrified because it makes you watch the news and read the papers and their websites. They hype up anything that will scare you.
The whole COVID period proved that.
The internet being a “place” you would go to and then leave.
That’s almost impossible to do now because everything is so linked to being online.
Struggling with the juxtaposition of a chain-smoking fitness instructor.
Who’s reading this in 2024?!
I don’t have any delivery notes. Also, on the odd occasions when I do, they don’t pay attention to them anyway.
“Leave with the neighbour if I’m not in”, then I get a picture of it sitting behind the bin.
Amazon drivers here never even hand you the parcels anymore. They leave it on the doorstep, knock the door and then by the time you’ve gone to the door to collect it, they’re driving off.
I did once have one not even bother knocking the door and automatically leave the parcel in the bin, even though I was at home and he could have just knocked the door and handed it to me. 🤦

Like seeing an advert for guitar lessons with a phone number attached, calling the number and telling them how much you really don’t want guitar lessons, when all you had to do was ignore it.
The Ricky Gervais joke about guitar lessons applies.
That’s not a smile, that’s trapped wind.
Why does it look like a car from a PS1 game?
Well, who would have thought it? It looks exactly the same.
Guy in charge of subscriptions thinks subscriptions are the future.
It’s kind of his job to say this.
I think this is by far the worst generation for gaming.
Obviously from a technical standpoint, it’s great. Fast loading times, better performance, graphical prowess. But in terms of the quality of the games, it’s dire. I honestly don’t understand why I was in such a rush to buy a PS5, because most of the games I’ve enjoyed have had PS4 versions, so whilst I may have experienced that better performance and graphics etc, I didn’t really need to buy a PS5.
My time on Reddit has dropped substantially since I can’t use third-party apps for it anymore, but I still login occasionally for the niche communities that don’t exist here, just like you do.
Use whatever website or app you want and don’t worry about what some nerds on the internet might think about it.
This alongside paper straws.
Who thought paper and liquid was a good mix?
