Go play EVE Online. The servers used to have (still, do I think, but shorter) daily downtime that was scheduled using UTC and it led to everyone using UTC since the game server itself used that time.

CUUUUUUUTE!!!
I believe it was my 2021 taxes (meaning I filed in 2022). Think I still have a shot? I don’t remember how much it was but it was definitely more than zero.
Wish I’d known this. One year we forgot one of our W2s.
Honestly, Steam’s UI still needs some work. A better way to control what games get auto updates comes to mind. Also, Library and Downloads not being different tabs is odd because I click Library expecting to see my Library but I see downloads.
I distinctly remember when I decided Steam was best. I hated it and bought Borderlands (the original) through some other service. My friends got an update through Steam and I didn’t get it for a long time. The patch from the official website only worked for the physical edition.
Steam used to suck ass, for real. It wasn’t for very long, but the early days were rough.
I agree, but I also don’t know if I’ll have that opinion in the future…
Like I said, I view the financial aspect of my responsibility. It’s more like I’d be worried about not really being able to make my own decisions and not having someone there to help me out. Someone to help pick what retirement home or elder care facility I end up in. Someone to check on me and make sure those places aren’t doing elder abuse. That sort of stuff.
Why the aggression??
I’d rather regret not having children than regret having children. I don’t want to risk giving a child that life. They’d deserve a parent who really wants them. I don’t think this is good advice.
What do you mean by this?
Having no kids. I currently have no children and do not plan to. I am satisfied with my life. My only real concerns are about who would support me when I age. Not monetarily but just in case my mind starts to slip and I need someone to help me get the help I need. I don’t feel comfortable having a child or adopting with that being the sole reason.
That sounds like a good way to get trafficked lol
Of course, I was only saying few people used sponsor block compared to (any) general ad blocker.
I imagine the amount of people using sponsorblock specifically are much smaller.
Any excess profits not reinvested are paid as dividends to share holders. However, if you’re reinvesting that money from dividends into buying more shares then there’s no difference between the two. Think of it like this. If I’m a company and I have a dollar, I can either invest it in the company and make my value go up by a dollar or give my share holders a dollar. Of course, in the inverse situation, the share.holder can just sell a dollar worth of stock and the situation is the same.
So there really isn’t too much of a difference between the two.
Regardless, times I’ve tried to get access to work stuff on my phone I stopped because I had to agree to let my entire device be remotely wiped if they chose to. I had absolutely zero faith that they wouldn’t accidentally do it as a matter of procedure if/when I left the company so I didn’t do it.
