There are other, more introspective, ways to react to widespread and ongoing negative reception.

Norwegian here. Blame entirely justified. Our greenwashing is gross and dishonest.
Thanks for answering! I was afraid it would be taken as sarcasm but I genuinely wanted to know.
If you were to give an estimate: How many of the people fundamentally disagreeing with you online are rational and honest people, and how many are US federal agents or in their employ? Percentage-wise.
That is a valid question in isolation, but bringing it up in discussions on where to vote is not leading to discussions or actionable improvements. It only functions to push voter disenfrachisement.
Not saying it’s your intention, but it is your effect.
Voting least bad is important. Don’t discourage it.
Working for better voting options is also important. Do push for that too, but find a constructive setting for it.
On this topic, I am optimistic on how generative AI has made us collectively more negative to shallow content. Be it lazy copypaste journalism with some phrases swapped or school testing schemes based on regurgitating facts rather than understanding, none of which have value and both of which displace work with value, we have basically tolerated it.
But now that a rock with some current run through it can pass those tests and do that journalism, we are demanding better.
Fingers crossed it causes some positive in the mess.
Feels easy to get stuck in. Progression balance is better.
It’s still the same basic game, but some of the changes make a big difference. Like they added a second layer, and the stacker machine works across both levels with the top item dropping down on top of the other. And the colors are now liquids.
But, as silly as it may sound, the graphics change make a huge difference in game feel. Every tiny thing is animated fully in a way that makes sense and nothing ever disappears into a machine to reappear later. The underground belts are replaced with launcher ramps and catcher ramps, which does the same thing but feels more fun.
The entire background, music and artstyle give it such a beautiful surreal abstract vibe that I can get lost just staring at it and moving the camera around. (Although as a kid I used to hold up and stare at CDs for ages, so your mileage may vary)
Managed to try Shapez 2 Demo. It has me proper hyped for the release.
Human genes only really “work as intended” when they are combined from very different sets.
So-called “recessive” genes are overruled by your partner’s different pile of genes. They are usually shit traits like soggy bones or hair growing backwards, but since they never dominate, they haven’t been naturally selected away. They’re just harmless baggage.
You can still get them because it’s all random, but the likelihood is generally low.
If you don’t have that difference in mating genes, more of these recessive genes get to have a say in building the human. This severely increases the likelihood of birth defects.

Fun fact: This is one of the reasons why - when we start colonies on the Moon or Mars or wherever - it’s important that we send a fuck ton of people.
Can you give an example of a post?
The part of your brain that works stuff into long term memory is normally dormant when you sleep.
When you wake up it turns on slowly, and when you wake up by an interruption (like an alarm clock) it turns on quickly.
Meaning dreams closer to morning are more likely to be remembered.
Cured sausage. It doesn’t dissolve or absorb water.
Not many foods are edible without exposing them to shower water while taking them out, though.
Smoothies from a closed-lit container and a straw.
“Associated with” must not be translated to “leads to”.
Wet clothes lead to hurricanes.
Not directly enough that you can draw a link between a piece of art and someone’s action. People have tried to blame bad actions on games, movies, shows, rock music and rap music for ages without getting any substantial traction.
But all media does influence and normalize thought patterns. This is why advertisements and promotional campaigns exist and work, why war propaganda exists to bolster or harm morale and unity, why grisly horror movies are restricted from small children, and why people who are raised Christian have more faith in Christ than people raised Buddhist.
Can you find a link that someone raised on American movies, news, conversations, and comics are more likely to call for using deadly force on a burglar instead of someone raised in Finland? Very likely. Could you make the argument that “Home Alone 3” caused Steven to shoot and kill a confused drunk who went to sleep in the wrong house? Absolutely not.
Aha, then I could easily see myself making that mistake during a tired and stressful day if my phone rang while paying or something.
Do some countries or areas have gas pumps that you just insert and then they pump without you constantly squeezing the handle? The ones I’m used to feel kinda impossible to forget because there is no reason to ever let go of the hose handle until it’s back in place.
The authoritarian left and the liberal left have so little in common that it’s frustrating the term “left” encompasses both.
