He should wither and die in prison.
My brother in Christ, werewolves existed for at least 150 years and shape shifting goes back hundreds more. A beast that becomes a person… What could that possibly be for? A person becoming a beast is easy and the not weird part of folk history that didn’t upset any kind of established morals. Violence is a part of life. Hot wolf dick that escapes into the night after making sweaty sheets? More difficult to keep as an oral tradition. Well, in stories at least.
Give that werewolf vibe
How old is your brother? How old are you? This sounds like a troll post showing the overreaction of an online audience to recommend the most extreme response because some vital details are missing.
Game launchers track user activity within the game. It’s how developers gather “user research” about how people play their game. It’s also telemetry about how your system is being used and is frankly invasive as possible without being illegal. And legality gets squidgy for data so nothing is off limits.
2K wanted that user data to sell to keep generating revenue from Civilization after the game and DLC were purchased. Typically a company has little incentive to linger on a game, they will publish, babysit the game for a few years with bug fixes, and quietly start developing the next project. 2K was farming data but for some reason didn’t like what they got so they stopped. I’m not sure if this is caused by consumer backlash but the end result is a benefit for us game players.
The sanctions have contributed to a ball-bearing shortage in Russia, which has affected locomotive maintenance in the country. This has led to a rise in malfunctions on the network’s trains and an increase in the number of vehicles being suspended, Russian newspapers Vedomosti and Kommersant reported in February and March this year.
Sanctions work, just add time.
I thought no one remembered when Burnout was a puzzle game with car physics and explosions. It was criminal to turn Burnout into a full racing game.
The right must think merci beaucoup means a pleasing to look at and merciful overthrow of a government.
Why are you with someone you don’t find attractive? Are you obligated to be in the relationship? Are you afraid of what happens without your partner?
A partner is someone you are happy to be with and if attractiveness is the sole determining factor, ask yourself what is unattractive about yourself. Why are they with you? Why don’t they leave to find someone else?
In truth, attractiveness is great for starting a relationship but the relationship will evolve to become more about the connection you both share. In-jokes are the best part, old arguments are the worst. But it’s something no one else would understand because it’s between you two.
Wake up with your partner, see them after a night of restless sleep or being sick for a few days. No one is attractive then and hopefully this shows that attractiveness is not the only requirement for loving someone. The only requirement is that you love them, whole and true, for as long as you can.
If you don’t love your partner, or find yourself doubting, have the courage to solve that difficulty. Be honest with yourself AND your partner. They are living with the hope that each day will be another in the story of your lives. Lying to them by hiding how you feel is building interest on a pain that could have been avoided.
Weirdest thing I’ve seen was a house that had no books. It was surreal that there was a TV in each room, even small ones mounted in the bathrooms, but not a single book in the house. Mister was a bus driver, wife was some kind of a school administrator. But not a single written word anywhere under that roof that wasn’t on a label. It made me sad for the kids.
Grossest was a guy’s computer was misbehaving and I showed up to fix it. Every single icon and image was porn. Every. Single. One. The background was a rotating slideshow of various porn images. The worst part was when I felt the mouse was sticky, I got up to wash my hands and the faux leather chair was sticky too. Everything around the porn computer was sticky. It was honestly too much and I took an early lunch, called my boss that I wasn’t feeling well, and explained I wasn’t going to work on that computer. My boss was mad at first, came out to finish the job, and then added the guy to the fired customer list. Fuck that house. It also smelled weird. Like off fruit. And I can never forget that call. Nice neighborhood, great house, nice yard - absolutely disgusting person behind it all.
I would like to know more.
Valve is a master class in how to run a company. It started as a small company and had a direction they wanted to go: first person games with a strong focus on narrative, which at the time was a big deal. Almost as part of the early FPS genre the silent protag was a feature and having a thin excuse for lots of violence was normal. Then Half Life showed up and showed what depth the genre could have.
From that success they had the resources to make a big movie, which they didn’t do right away. They didn’t IPO for more money and access to big names in boardrooms that would secure backroom deals. They worked on multiplayer to prove the mod scene building around Half Life. Valve embraced Counterstrike and built around it, including the bones for Steam.
Valve has always been about seeing which way the wind is blowing, what organic direction the market is moving, and then finding their niche in that direction way before anyone else figures out the market. And they didn’t need Fortune 500 levels of employee count. They did it with a few people in a room talking honestly about innovation and what projects are exciting, not profit driven.
Authoritarians are so used to thinking that children aren’t people, that they are the property of the people who made them, that when a child makes a good point they are dismissed for who they are and not what they have done. Authoritarians are prejudiced against insight and scramble to deflect and demean instead of being able to handle the issue.
If a chunk of ISS falls and damages something or hurts a person, who is liable: the organization that put it up there or the one paid to take it down?
I hate the accuracy of your analysis because you are 100% right that so much of that era was forgotten (except by those who lived it and still hold onto those details). Enron had absolutely turned Texas into scrutiny central and someone in Bush’s administration didn’t like their friends going to jail for being corrupt. The Bush family had also used their connections to Saud to enrich them and their friends during the 90s without knowing that they were being used. 9/11 is the day Bush realizes it and was completely unable to do anything about it because of hat direct family connection. So instead America invaded Afghanistan and Iraq as a distraction.
The entire foreign policy of right wingers is cleaning up the personal history of the grifters who run the party.
Oh, so true. I didn’t want to assume any Continental tastes because it is so varied, but ketchup and mayo are absolutely a European sauce. Thanks for the reminder.
Brown sauce? Please, that’s only a thing in Britain. The only sauce which defies national borders and cultures is mustard .
Ketchup is a western sauce. Mayo is an JP/K sauce. Hot sauce isn’t even mentioned but is more widespread than brown sauce.

Apple and Nvidia hate each other due to some failed business history between them. Apple didn’t like Nvidia chips failing and hurting the MacBook reputation. Nvidia didn’t like being thrown under the bus when the MacBook problem started to surface.
Since 2008/09 they have refused to even joke about doing business together.
