I’d feel worse if they didn’t so richly deserve it.

For once, I hope Verizon wins
I admit that I have all alerts deactivated for the simple reason that our local agencies can’t seem to use SAME codes and I get tired of waking in the middle of the night for a thunderstorm three counties over.
Agreed on all points. And I’m sure the US is not unique.
Come to think of it, the national anthem is also about the flag. We have a real fetish for cloth crafting.
The flaw in the plan is that three or four large-flag cadres could conspire to support each other and overwhelm a protest.
Ultimately, flags are just symbols similar to any other logo. But I’d still prefer just to see them banned from Canvas rather see Canvas turn into an r/place arms race.
Don’t know if you’re familiar with the US Oath of Allegiance that every school kid is forced to recite at the beginning of the day, but it’s literally an oath to a flag. Completely fucked up, IMO.
Love the handle, BTW. :)
I think downloading is against Google’s TOS. Whether that makes it illegal is a question for a lawyer.
I’ve never used a VPN with it either. But it should work, especially with an exit node in a country where Google has no incentive to/is prohibited from interfering with third party viewers.
I’m not suggesting that you should. But if the government that controls a TLD is not trusted, then no site under that TLD should be trusted either.
If you trust the government that controls a TLD, then use the site. If not, proceed with caution.
Good to know. Thanks!
It would also be nice if there were a way to use them anonymously. ChatGPT seems to allow this, but I’m not entirely comfortable with OpenAI.
Of course, since the US rescinded its signature to the Rome Statute, the ICC doesn’t officially exist to these lawmakers. Isn’t screaming at imaginary boogeymen a sign of mental deficiency?
Depending on context, it might be.
I have the Aleph One version of these games. They’re a lot of fun.
Judge Alsup isn’t wrong. Yet Disney routinely writes its own copyright laws and has Congress pass them. Musk is just trying to cut out the middle step.
English allows almost any noun in the language to be used as an adjective in exactly this way. This usage is completely grammatical.
Isn’t this a definition of insanity?
Sounds like Spaz is about to have another Numbnuts Moment.
