This is generally true, but no more than what you do with an iPhone to Apple. Except with the iPhone Apple decides how much, where on Android you can prevent giving data to Google to the degree you wish.
There is no doubt Android phones have more freedom than iPhone. It’s not even reasonably debatable.

Apple users are definitely in a cage, but apparently they won’t even acknowledge it.
I’m not saying the phones aren’t good otherwise, but using Apple is an obvious sacrifice of digital freedom.

You have to understand technology is constantly evolving, which requires upgrades to allow utilization those technologies.
So they probably needed the upgrade for a new EULA, to allow for improved shenanigans built right into Windows, that will be a huge benefit to Microsoft, and would allow closer more invasive monitoring of your system, but wouldn’t be legal without the new EULA.

May I suggest OB for Ounce Byte, or 28.35 Byte, one 16th of a PB PoundByte which is 453,6 Bytes.
These measures are both practical as freedom units because it’s base is close to 28, which is clearly more suitable than 32 as a freedom unit base number, and the Pound Byte can be easily halved 4 times to make an Ounce Byte. Which makes it about as convenient as other freedom units.

With theft the originally owner loses what is stolen, with copyright infringement the owner only loses the license fee for 1 copy.

Where I am in all supermarkets I know of, honey at least used to be labeled by country of origin, usually Poland or Hungary, maybe it’s not the case anymore, it’s been a while since I checked.
Still there’s a difference between the legality in USA of selling Honey and Sirup labeled as Honey blend, which is clearly illegal in EU. If there is any amount of sugar added, it is sirup. It can only LEGALLY be called honey if it’s actually pure honey.

Nonono, that’s a huge difference, in EU it’s ILLEGAL to call it honey at all, you cannot call it honey blend either. And it’s not enough to label that there is sugar added. If you add any amount of sugar it’s not honey but sirup.

You must sufficiently describe the name of the food on the label to distinguish it from simply “honey” (21 CFR 102.5(a)).

However they are only exempt from the declaration if it’s pure honey, so the part about not having that is clearly against the guidelines. The header on page 1 says: “Contains Nonbinding Recommendations” So it’s very fuzzy to a layman like me.

OK maybe not, but at least here it’s illegal to label it honey if it isn’t 100% pure honey. that goes for all of EU, where it’s illegal to add sugar, according to the EU honey directive.
The result is that you buy either Honey or Syrup, you know what you get, and you get what you pay for.

Apparently it’s illegal in USA too, whether adding the word “blend” makes it legal IDK. It is sort of a warning sign but still misleading.

The story posted twice and removed by mods, were because he broke the rules. First he posted on c/technology when it has nothing to do with tech. Then he posted on c/news with a headline complaining that it was removed, where it’s against the rules to change the headline. So this has nothing to do with being silenced, but everything to do with not respecting the subs he posted to.
The exact same article was posted again, but with correct headline, and has not been taken down.
