I know NASA asked KSP to delay the launch of KSP2 due to so many people there being huge fans.

In the US it very much isn’t free. I realize the original commenter was asking about Europe and Asia, but something to be aware of if you want to visit this country. Here at least, you’re much better off using traveler’s cheques, rather than trying to rely on cash from ATMs and bank transfers.
I have no idea why, but I swear to god that we have the most bass-ackwards banking system in the world. They still use COBOL for fuck’s sake.
Nuclear can absolutely produce power on demand, once the reactors are up and running. I just wish we would have invested in molten salt reactors that cannot meltdown back when we invented them in the '60s. Of course you also can’t make weapons with those reactors, or the isotopes that we need for modern medicine.
We can’t entirely get rid of nuclear power because of the aforementioned isotopes, but I would be very happy to see all the for profit reactors shut down permanently. You cannot safely run a nuclear reactor when you care about profit.
Oh and those molten salt reactors are why China is probably going to start selling nuclear waste disposal services to the rest of the world in about a decade once they turn the ones they are currently building on.
Prices go negative in Texas somewhat regularly
Since no one else mentioned it, The Baha’i Lotus Temple in New Delhi is on my bucket list to visit. Absolutely gorgeous architecture.
An architect that was based in London when it was built said of the project, “such a building would be extremely difficult to build in London. In India it will prove impossible.” Not only did you guys build it, but there were 0 workplace fatalities in the process of building it.
I’m now curious as to what the lyrics mean… Are they singing about Columbus or did they just choose a really strange video theme?
Hello fellow 1980 baby. Have you ever seen a chicken hatch? It’s a pretty destructive process. The chick is immediately exposed to a myriad of microorganisms, a sharp shell, embryonic fluid, and plenty of other potential hazards that it can easily kill itself on in the first 20 minutes of its life. However, if it can manage to make it through the hazards you end up with a cute fluffy yellow chick, for another day. They turn brown and dull way too quick for me, at least when I was 10. My point here is that humanity is also going through a transitory period currently. We have already technically reached post scarcity levels, and the proletariat is noticing that. There is bound to be a fair bit of bloodshed over the next couple decades as we strip the power from the ultra wealthy sociopaths that currently run the ship, but the upside is that fucktons of really smart people understand that the roadmap to world peace includes universal education for all, and the elimination of extremes of poverty and wealth.
And then there’s whatever they do in India, where a comma indicates the thousands place, but then they put commas every two numbers…
Oh definitely look up Christopher Titus on YouTube he put all his standup specials on there for free.
Nah, look him up. He is actually funny, but a bit right wing these days. He was closer to mainstream in the '90s
Oh, and watch the video. It is funny.
He’s a comedian from the '90s and early '00s
He’s pretty good. Kinda like a left leaning Dennis Leary
That one was programmed by Vir Cotto, and Lennier
I wonder how many people confuse him for the comedian.
Yeah, I’ve never seen it, and don’t want to. I’m just a fan of Tim Curry. I still maintain his best role was in C&C
That looks like a vegan bar/burger joint/ pizza place in San Diego
The latest German word that I particularly appreciate is backpfeifengesicht.
Google translates it to: a face in need of a fist.
Just more proof that cruelty is the point. They’ve known since the 70s that they’d be richer than they are if they would pay thriving wages and eliminate poverty. They want the suffering more than the money.
