IMO the 2000 election, 9/11 and the response to it (patriot act, endless war) were the turning point of this country going to shit. I tried to warn all my friends and family but I was young, they didn’t get it or take me seriously.
It does not surprise me that they’re gonna use the patriot act to throw the book at her. Seems appropriate. People have finally woken up, realized their politicians and government don’t represent them, change has been promised for decades as conditions have worsened for most, and people are fed up. If a well off rich tech bro who could of inherited the family business and never have to worry about failing like the rest of us, if he could throw it all away to make a point by killing the CEO of UHC who he didn’t even have health insurance at any point and seemed to be targeted for its stats as the worst, if he got this mad and threw it all away for the cause, what does that say about the rest of us?! There’s millions more who have an even bigger axe to grind than he did and less to lose to make their points, so to speak.
I bet the security state is gonna clamp down hard, we can’t have capitalism threatened! I wonder if all this drone news is a false flag to get the public to accept 24/7 drone surveillance.
